  1. I joined back in September of 2011, right after acquiring my first S12. I used every piece of info to do my conversions from here. Although I am not on daily my interest still never wanes as there always is something someone knows that I don't. Since joining I've had six surgeries, four on the same arm. I remember vividly going out to the Kansas river, after going back to work from the last nerve surgery to shoot clays with my two firstborn s12s and how everyone had to try them. I wore the bruises for quite awhile and couldn't believe the excitement it gave me. I still have my two warning poi
  2. R. Lee Ermey better known as Gunny, passed away this morning from complications with pneumonia. RIP Gunny. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R._Lee_Ermey
  3. Hang in there, as we know you will. It's better that you took care of it now than later when it will take longer as this old fart knows. Take what time you need and it will hopefully heal with minimal problems.
  4. I get to serve the Feds in July I was called three times by the county and served on two juries with the other being pled out of court. I kind of enjoyed being intimidated by the defense.
  5. Might be time to get rid of the "Daisy Cutter" stockpile. Aw nuts, I was just informed they retired it in '08. Still made a helluva bang.
  6. I agree that most of the forums have been tame lately, but I am with Vance on the S12. Mine have run almost flawlessly since completion. Both have the same parts and only the furniture is different. I was so proud the day at the river shooting clays after a little tweaking how three of us were able to pull double hits on the same clays consistently. I therefore believe if it ain't broke don't mess with it to find another problem to solve. All I have learned over the years about the S12 came from the fine, knowledgeable, helpful and what I would describe as professional firearm experts on this
  7. I can't begin to list the films I've forgotten he was in. Some of the time he was wearing a flat top or brush cut. I remember when he was in the Terminator and then in Weird Science. I think when I saw him in Titanic, I felt he did a pretty good job with the role he was given. Glad to have seen him in the films I did. I didn't think he got the recognition he deserved. He got to work with some of my favorites actors, Kurt Russell, Sam Elliott and I guess he had a thing for Michael Biehn. They made a good team in the films they were in together. Bill we're going to miss you.
  8. I just finished sending messages to three of my reps concerning HR 3799 Hearing Protection Act. I sure hope this one goes through. Too many threaded muzzles that need friends. Too many raccoons that need enemies.
  9. Happy Birthday Indy. Thank you for the eye candy over the years. May all your moderating be easy ones.
  10. At first I thought this was a joke because of the title. Apparently not. https://www.gunsamerica.com/blog/cocks-not-glocks-group-invited-white-house/?utm_source=email&utm_medium=20161014_FridayDigest_91&utm_campaign=/blog/cocks-not-glocks-group-invited-white-house/
