  1. One of them is only 15. It's pretty easy to influence a 15 year old that's the reason it's illegal for us to fuck em until they are older and able to make better better decisions. They obviously made a huge mistake but I don't know if I'd let them back either. How do we know they aren't radicalized and being sent back to kill as many countrymen as possible. Sucks for them but I'd err on the side of caution.
  2. I have 3 different smokers, one propane one electric and one coal and 90% of the time I use the electric. Ita a cheap masterbuilt 30" digital smoker that I drilled a hole in the side and added a smoke daddy smoker to. I use it the most because I usually smoke on the weekend which is also when I drink heavily. I have to get up at 3am still drunk or swearing I will never drink again and start the smoker. With electric I can set the temp and light the smoke daddy then crawl back to bed. I only have to get up every 3-4 hours and refill the smoke daddy and don't need to babysit the temperature. 225
  3. I paint my off road vehicles with monstaliner and love it. You can lay it down smoother than other bed liners and it's tough as nails. Its not as rough as regular bed liners if you roll it on and don't do a final roll as it tacks up, It doesn't hold mud and a quick pressure clean will bring it back 100% clean.
  4. I need to get one thats 0.57 and 2" long with a .223 mandrel. It would save me a headache installing a 74 FSB on my heavy barrel .223 but I only see the mandrels for 1" deep cutters. I never knew these existed till now so will be searching for a 2" .223 mandrel. Thanks for putting up the video.
  5. Why not wedge something behind the mag release so it can't move to release the drum then try a high speed mag dump. That would tell you,if it's the mag release moving or something else going on. You might just have a weaker than normal spring.
  6. Im thinking about just threading the muzzle but have a Bulgarian 74 parts kit a friend is sending me so will see how much material I can safely remove. I'll post some pics of whatever I end up with. Thanks for the knowledge.
  7. I have an old saiga .223 and want to finish up my conversion properly with a 74 gas block and front sight block. The barrel mics at .631 on the gas block journal so is definitely not mil spec size. What is the best way to tackle this install? Is there enough material to ream out the FSB and GB and if so what method would you recommend? I have a lathe but the through hole is too small to fit a barrel so if I can do it without turning down the barrel I'd rather go that route. Thanks for any advice any of you reading this can give.
  8. I lube the same spots as evlblk but one thing I've noticed is that since I got my auto plug I haven't cleaned my gas chamber at all. I have about 1200 rounds of fiocchi #7 and #9 through it and can still hear the puck move when I rock the gun back and forth. Before I had to unscrew the plug and dump out all the crap every 250 rounds. I'm guessing when the piston on the auto plug opens up it blows all the crap out of the pressure bleed holes in the plug. Anyone else noticed the same thing?
  9. It won't pop back up. The V plug has detents on the bottom so you can adjust it without having to push down the pin like the original.
