One last question. Is a signiture required for USPS to drop it off? Something came today that required a signature and im not sure if that was it. Thanks.
That's a Roger, Delta. The wife had to sign for mine when it was delivered.

...any pics yet?
Nope, sorry.
I plan on doing a conversion and chopping my barrel.
Was gonna wait til then to install the PorkyPine since my Shark Brake is locktited on.
Rest assured there'll be pics when all is done.
How much are you cutting off yuor barrel?
hopefully not enough that he will not be able to engage/disengage the porkypine eh!
I'll make sure and leave enough room for the PorkyPine to work if I do chop it. I still may leave this one alone at 18", and just do the conversion. Haven't made up my mind yet.
I'll probably get another one sometime. I do want a 10" or 12" eventually.
Heavy sigh............So many toys-so little time/money.

That looks like a great little package dude.
Folded, it can be easily slipped into a small backpack.

Hey guys, here are the latest pics of "BattleAxe"
, the new SBR I built out of my Kel-Tec PLR-16.
I used the stock conversion from Kel-Tec made for the SU-16C rifle and added the MagPul CTR stock and Ace folder.
As far as I know this is the first (only?) one of it's kind.
Just installed the Ace folding block today. Makes for a lightweight, mean little package.

Thanks Mike! Entertaining!
I put the new MD20 drum through my own little test this past Sunday.
The Saiga is a mess! The drum worked flawlessly.
It's amazing how effective the S12 & MD20 are at clearing underbrush and small trees. And the duo really pissed off a yellow jacket colony.

Got a notice in my mailbox on 9-16 saying I had a "parcel" at the post office for pick-up.
On 9-18 I had a chance and made the drive hoping it would be the drum I ordered in August of last year. I couldn't remember ordering anything else lately.
Got to the PO and it turned out to be a book that was back ordered.
So I drove home dreaming of the day I'd get my drum.
Turned onto my street and spotted Mr. Brown ahead.
My heartbeat sped up.
He went past my drive...
But then he slowed...stopped...
And the back-up lights came on!
He backed into my drive and we both grinned at the same time.
I signed and he handed me the box! My drum!
Say hello to my leetle friend.
The drum came with a "smoke" transparent rear cover and a black one. The smoke colored one is installed in the pics.
Haven' gotten a chance to shoot it yet. But the thing locked up into my gun perfect and tight!

My drum locked up tight with no filing.

Got out to the range this morning. Took my 14 yr old along (caddy
), and we put the first 200 flawless rounds thru the new XD-40 (M).
Gun shot to POA, and I was able to achieve 4 inch groups at 50 ft. offhand. I know the gun will easily do better than that, but it has been a while since I last shot.
All-in-all, a great gun! I'll be keeping this one. May even try it in a few IDPA matches.

Sweet,
I can't wait to here the range report,.. that one peice looks like a belt mount double magazine holder,..?? is that what it is?

Yes, GG it's a double mag holder.
Thinking I may hit the range tomorrow morning.
I've got an itch.

I want one!
just wondering how much? American shooters has them for $600., is there a better deal?
I snagged mine from my friendly neighborhood gunn runner for $575 +tax. $609.50 out the door. Another LGS's price was $629 +tax. So I think I got a pretty good deal. But I would've paid more. I wanted it and was GONNA have it no matter what.
killa, I also have the XD-40SC. Great gun! Handles unbelievably well especially for a .40 with a short barrel.

Looks fantastic. CONGRATS!!!
Thanks!
Haven't gotten it to the range yet, but if it's anything like the other XD's I own I'll love it!
