  1. I'm from south africa and we have "rubbish" gun laws to contend with. It was always my assumption that only shotguns were allowed in the uk? Are you "special" in some way, what about handguns? Very nice ak indeed!
  2. Hi, First off, I am nit asking anyone for anything illegal, just need assistance. I am located in South Africa and have no access to original Saiga Magazines whatsoever. Second hand, battered and Bruised steel mags are somewhat available but the condition is not great. I desperately want Polymer AK mags (not neccessarily original saiga mags - Promags or Tapcos will be fine - I have no issue installing a bullet guide) but at present can find nobody who will ship. I am not asking for a way around the legalities, they are what they are, what I am asking is if any of you who are lo
  3. ^^^^^ hey, ive seen this video before
  4. I believe the answer to your question is "23". seeing as though not much else here makes much sense. seriously though, the post a couple of slots up regarding a scope etc is solid advice. at 25meters with irons I am able to get a 3 shot group in 1.5". havnt shot out to 100 yet. but my math tells it it sould probably be 6 - 8 inches at that distance.
  5. @keith524 - what is your reason for the concern? do you have a specific worry regarding it?
  6. must admit I like the wood, but the new kit looks really nice. Like you say - more practical. the .308's have just arrived here... my wife will divorce me if I even think about it... hey her birthdays next month, wonder if "she'd" like one????
  7. very cool - is that the naughty corner?
  8. this is mine, no "conversions", straignt out of the box.
  9. Tacticooltim, please define a "lazy ejector"?
  10. Good grief, a thing of beauty. Well done!
  11. Good job, I enjoy peoples diy projects. So long as it works for you there's no issue. Just a question, are you guys in states permitted to just hang your rifles on the wall??? Over here I'd be drawn and quatered and would never be allowed to own another gun ever again. Wish I could hang my stuff up
  12. Well, based on my location I personally would steer clear of any AR style platform. There just aren't enough around for me to be happy that spare parts would be available. Also, I have only seen a couple made use of in idpa matches and each time one or more failed every couple of rounds, ftf and fte issues. Not fun in a zombie dawn scenario. Nothing against the platform, I know it can run well if set up nicely, and I will own one one day just not my go to gun. Like I said, anything with an ak style system, be it an actual ak, my saiga, an LM series or even an R series of rifle would be great.
