  1. Definitely cool. It said potential customers were military, police, and recreational shooters. I doubt I'll ever get to buy em (like I could afford em) but still pretty cool.
  2. Ditto, can't go wrong with a Chevy. Hopefully the dacks are getting buried. Deep snow and frozen lakes make for nice hiking.
  3. I miss the snow. This winter is a ripoff. I don't think we've got 3 inches up here.
  4. Post it here in the for sale section. Who knows, maybe a member has what you want and wants what you have.
  5. Just another thief, like any other. As far as the guns go I think they should all be legal but in this situation I gotta wonder about the people willing to buy stolen guns and the fact that he was willing to supply them.
  6. Both depending on what I'm shooting. Don't forget your glasses. I never wore either when I was younger and now have noticable hearing loss in my right ear. I also had metal removed from my eye twice in one year. I personally don't like the safety stuff but experience tells me I'm gonna use it.
  7. Albany gun show, Empire state plaza convention center, February 4th 9-5, Febrary 5th 9-3, only 450 6' tables . I haven't gone in a decade but last time there were over 1000 tables. I might go to this one though. Syracuse gun show, New York state fair grounds, April 21st 9-5, April 22nd 9-3, 1000 8' tables . I'll make this one, not sure which day but will definitley go. If I skip Albany I'll have more spending $ for this one.
  8. Good cheap Romanian sar1. Dependable and if it gets lost then you dig up one of the other 20 you got buried in the woods.
  9. I wonder if they will ship firewood over here? I didn't know there was a kalishnikov museum!
  10. I've been partial to kershaw whirlwinds since they came out, I've owned several and I'm just used to the feel of it. They're getting harder to find now.
  11. LOL, a few months ago I lost a whole router table in my shop. It took me a good hour and a half to dig it out.
  12. I can almost see both sides of this non-issue. Some people are drawn into prepping via firearms and some people are drawn into firearms by prepping.Saigas are just the hub we're all using. Either way we've all wound up here on this site. I'm probably more on the prepper side. It doesn't mean I'm paranoid or stupid but thanks for implying that. I can see how reading about all the negativity can be a downer, and it is. But EVERYONE on this site is a prepper in some form to some degree, if we weren't we'd all be meeting at OWS rallies instead. Obviously there is an interest in being prepared for
  13. Hopefully this won't give me splinters but from what I've read on this forum is that you don't want people to ask gun questions that have already been asked. I don't mind that, I tuned two saigas without having to ask any questions. As far as paranoia on the site you can't avoid it, this site is made up of people who own weapons that were designed for assault, in some peoples eyes anyone who owns a firearm is paranoid. If there's too many posts that sound paranoid then maybe there should be another area for it. Complaining about it is kinda like bitchin at flies in a dairy barn. We could call

  15. I'm in northern Clinton County, NY, just south of Montreal. I've been on a tool binge the last few years and have been ignoring the range. I've renewed my interest in firearms and look foward to some shows this year. I'm about three hours north of Albany and don't mind going a bit further for a thousand tables or more plus some of Vermont. Hopefully there will be some good shows this year.
  16. I'm not in your area but you should start researching wild edible plants for your region. Harvest, preperation, and nutritional values. Start printing this info off the computer and organize it in a binder, make copies for distribution if possible.
  17. Hello, my name is Ken and I'm located in Clinton County, NY. I'm fairly new to the forum and like to keep a low profile but I've been following your collective of posts. First for the tuning of certain firearms (thanks for the excellent info), and secondly for the like minded consolidation of political views and awareness. It may seem that some of your posts don't recieve the attention they deserve but they do. I'm sure many members are like myself and are trying to keep a low profile but like me are taking steps to prepare and prevent. I've sent emails to my worthless traitor of a representat
