  1. Interesting concept. Have you gotten a chance to shoot it yet? At first glance (and not having a chance to personally hold it), it seems as if the ergonomics would be kind of awkward with firing hand so close to the body?
  2. Yup, Mission First Tactical "Engage" pistol grip.
  3. Finally have her about 95% complete. The Bulgy 74 brake is sitting around here, just waiting for an FSB. lol. Here are some pics for now, of how she currently sits...
  4. Good stuff, Rich. I found myself in the same scenario (no threads on my new 7.62). What method did you use to align it and make sure it wasn't canted? Also, did you use the conventional method of pinning it in with the 2 holes at the bottom?
  5. Great job with the conversion. Congrats man! Enjoy that beast! Ohhh...I'm also from Kalifornia. Do you plan on putting a mag lock on there (I presume yes, since you've chosen to put a pistol grip on it, rather than a featureless build)?
  6. I know you said the 15th is the last day to order to receive the parts come Christmas time, but is the coupon code still valid for 15% off?
  7. Thanks for the heads up. I personally wouldn't go for it either as the components are not exactly my taste, so I'd end up throwing money at changing them out either way. However, this would be a good alternative to those looking to convert theirs and don't want to do the work themselves (nor pay a couple hundred for the labor) and have a restored Saiga for just over 5 bills...
  8. Looking great. Congrats on the conversion. What'd you use to cut the handguard? A dremel?
  9. These responses just crack me up! I wish I had a little toy bear that came with mine Now I'm a little jealous. lol
  10. Where can this Blackthorne FSB be acquired? If it's not open for public posting, can either of you folks send me a message? Thanks
  11. Hmmm...maybe it fell out of one of my gear bags from a cleaning kit that I have? Regardless, thanks again for the help
