Hey Zeus, try having a look at Clear view Investments website www.clearviewinvest.com They have a new line called 'shot force' hell you can make a simple single shot shotgun look pretty impressive. I think the shroud with the ghostring sights and the AR 15 style muzzle brake looks pretty good and the parts are INEXPENSIVE. Hope this helps. I have no idea what is going on with the store.......

Hi Assassin-try it this way since I installed a 20 round trench mag onto my czech VZ24 and had to remove the floorplate and follower. Do spray some penetrating oil around the front and back edges of the floorplate, press the release button down about 1/2 inch or til it clears the floorplate(use a small diameter punch and a small flashlight to check), now you have to try to SLIDE the floorplate back towards the trigger guard WHILE depressing the button in order for the plate to slide out of the catchlips front and rear, and it should come up-becareful of the spring tension. Hi Bvamp and SL ,regarding the finish-even though I have not personally held a Saiga-IF they do the typical Russian military weeapon finish, it is a baked on enamel that is fairly tough but is cheaper than parkerizing. So I am thinking that it is the blackish baked enamel that is applied to the SAIGA shotguns,and probably the other rifles as well. That is my worth. Maybe you can try the 1400 degre paint that is sold for exhaus systems-spray somme on a brush and touch up-but read the instructions-some of the paints need to be cured in an oven at 500 degees for them to set. Hey Guys I was wondering if I procure a Saiga 12 before the ban sets,do you think it could be 'ergonomically' modified AFTER the ban sets-or should I waite till the ban sets and try to buy one already 'properly setup"?
