  1. Yeah...Whatacountry is pretty much the high number. They have to make a living however. I can't knock them for not being competitive with private sellers. I searched AK files and saw a couple old sales.... Looks like I pretty much can expect to pay $165 for NIW 75 rounders and $250 to $275 for NIW 100 rounders...A little less if I want one covered in rust (great).... Anything less than that and it sells in minutes. I've missed two sales now due to being just a few minutes late in checking in the sales threads. Suckers are pricey! Oh well...Bite the bullet I suppose... Thank
  2. You guys were a great help when I was learning about Saiga 12s...so I figured I would put a line in the water and see if anyone happens to be able to help me out with another member of the Ak family. I'm looking for reasonably priced Chinese 7.62x39 AK drums in either 75 or 100 round capacity. If you have some or one, new or used, let me know... republic36 (AT) sbcglobal.net Thanks!
  3. PM sent to BattlerifleG3. Interested to see if you're "taking orders" for the CETME (G3) handgrips. Thanks!
  4. FSE US-made copy of the Bulgarian grenade launcher pad. Friction-fits over the end of a solid stock, and lengthens the toe of the stock in addition to dampening the felt recoil. http://www.fseusa.com/product_info.php?cPa...products_id=339 Thank you!

    Recoil Pad

I ordered the Warsaw length AK buttstock from Tromix thinking that my AK recoil pad would fit it and give me a little more length on the stock as well. However, the screw hole do not line up...and I destroyed the pad trying to refit it to the stock. What products are out there that I could consider for this? I fired another Tromix Saiga 12 and know that I WILL be needing the recoil pad as it kicks like a mule with 3" OO buck.
  6. "Driftwood" Absolutely no significance or meaning whatsoever.... How's that for profound...
  7. I'm still learning here....so forgive me if this question has been asked and answered before.. I read the occasional post about Saiga mags requiring modification prior to use in a Saiga 12. What is the nature of these modifications, and do ALL hi-cap Saiga mags require it?

    AGP? 10rd

Tony's got the low down it sounds like.... FWIW I ordered six 10 rounders about two months ago. When I called last week, they said "Still on backorder. May be another three to four weeks." I don't know..........neither does the green shirt chimp...
  9. I'm a huge 1911 fan...but I've never had a single problem with my Glock 23 and it is WELL WELL USED.. 1911 needed a new slide release once..........Glock just needed more ammo.........
  10. I've heard nothing but absolutely rave reviews. One of my neighbors bought one. He says about the same thing as Reverend Franz does above...
  11. Just my humble opinion...S&W Airweight .38+P hammerless. S&W wheelgun. Very reliable. Airweight. Easy to carry. Most shootings involve one to two shots...so the five round capacity is plenty. .38+P has reasonably fine stopping power. No hammers, safetys, switches, buttons, anything to hang up, mess up, or worry about in what would be a panic situation. Never worry about "Is is chambered? OMG!! Is the safety on?!?! OMG!!" The frame won't grab on a purse strap or anything. Ability to shoot thru a purse or pocket without worrying about a slide. Even for a small
  12. That's a MEAN looking scattergun!!!! Good score!!
  13. I emailed Tony this morning and told him to install a Warsaw length fixed plastic buttstock. I'll put the rubber pad on the end to help the shoulder, and that will give me another inch as well. Sound like a good decision??
  14. MAN!! Pointer and Cobra......those are some BAD lookin' rigs!!!!!!!! I like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
