I just purchased my first s-12 from Krebs. It's the tactical model with his custom ghost ring sights. I want to mount a red dot, yet keep the gun as light as possible. I've pondered these options...
-have a smith mount a small piece rail on the dust cover
-have a mount system as seen on r and r targets website, with a mount directly on the gun and not on a rail.
-purchase a quad rail system and use that.
I have an aimpoint h-1 laying around to use. I've also thought about getting something like a docter optic or rmr. Would these be better for a shotgun? Thanks. Opinions?
