Looks like a square-back slipped inside the stock, IMO. -
I found one!!!

They probably paid $200 for it and then checked prices online. Visions of tiny drink umbrellas on some warm beach dance in the store owner's head. It will sit there until they need their money back. I hope you aren't really shopping for a cheap AK. Those years seem to be gone. I would be looking at the great deals on ARs, right now and then buying at least a case of ammo. -

It depends what you have in your pantry. I have plenty of AKs but, I'd love to add an AR. Both are probably better than a lever-action .44 (though, I would love one). -

Not a word yet. I hope it got passed over (buried) in the Judiciary. -
Proposed WA State HB 1387

We actually have a pretty strong gun culture in Washington State. Trump appointed one of our state legislators to his cabinet so, they think that they have better odds now. They are lucky that they live where they do and that I am not king. They would be banished. -
I was looking at the CX4 in .45 (because I already own a Cougar 8045 and like it). I thought it might be the closest thing to a Thompson Carbine that I could afford. Then I found Saiga-12.com and got distracted buying $300 Saigas and other AK projects and never looked back. 8045 mags and copies are just south of $50 a mag. That's insane, for a low capacity magazine. Economies have consequences. I look forward to seeing updates!

ABC News says the operation was planned for months (to grab computer intelligence from Al Queda). It sounds like they were waiting for us. Based on what he did while leaving, I would not put it past Barry. He started dropping land-mines as soon as it looked like Trump would win. Anyone remember the helicopter that was shot down with two dozen highly trained US Soldiers on board under very strange circumstances? Shortly after, we were dropping weapons to Al Queda and ISIS in Syria. Something about this Yemen raid stinks bad.

Thanks. She's a little hefty and the drum just makes it silly but I love it.I do want to try and shed a little weight. The drum makes it a good point-defense weapon. It doesn't take long to empty a drum and then move, switching to magazines. I like it! -
Any computer recomendations

I built all of my own PCs, for gaming, since 1996. About 5 years ago, I gave up PC gaming (too many wasted hours). Now, I use my phone for 99.99% of my surfing and gaming. Most any current laptop >$500 will suit most of your needs now. (Desktops are becoming obsolete fast.) I used to pay that much for a single video card, CPU, or RAM. Good luck! -
First AR Recommendation

Thank God that you can take your time now. I would wait 3-6 months. The market is going to explode with new guns and parts! An Olympic Rep. treated my friend really well. He owned a hybrid (half Olympic, half after-market parts) AR-15 and it wasn't feeding. His gun was sent to the factory for repair, regardless of it's parts. Probably a one-off. That was 15 years ago. -
http://dailycaller.com/2017/01/22/mattis-celebrates-first-day-at-pentagon-by-blowing-up-isis-31-times/ Gen. Mattis, first day on the job, in case you did not hear... I apologize for the source.

No basic AK should cost more than $500. Just stating the obvious. He gambled on Hillary winning, IMHO. -
Need some AK build advice

Is the other one vented? My only concern would be over-gassing the bolt carrier. I dought it would actually explode. -

Maybe they were concerned that a factory thin-walled tube would split when they tried shaping it. There is a lot of slop in standard gas tubes, even with the star-shaped crimping. I see they made the I.D. much smaller on the other. Are you going to crimp the walls? -
I think Trump is going to make Barry wish that he hadn't golfed so much. This guy never seems to sleep. He's constantly thinking. Trump is their worst nightmare. I'll bet good money that the MSM won't be able to keep up with him every day. I'm so glad he isn't a main-stream Republican. So many of them have gone "half-ass". When I was 12, the Rock Stations in Ohio were rooting for Reagan to kick ass!
