  1. In the video you can see 3 lanes (by the rails attached to the ceiling). I am in lane 2, shooting at the white/red target. There is also one closer to my right but that was the folks in the lane next to me who were using an AR and pistol.
  2. Not trying to be a dick here. But even at that short range I find that group unlikely. I base this solely on stance and stability and the MONSTER flinch when you dropped the hammer on the empty chamber. Sorry to wave the BS flag but when i know I'm right. I'm right. Lean into that damn rifle!!! Edit to add. Not saying you didn't shoot that group and that range which is more than feasible for that rifle. I'm just saying it was not in that video recorded session No, it was. First time shooting the Saiga and as explained in my post here and in video that I was quite surprised when I
  3. Very accurate, the first time shooting mine. This was with using standard iron sights, russian spam can ammo (TUL equivalent), FMJ. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmqqlZdA86o
  4. Did you start with a 132 or 332 model Koi?
  5. I have an 09 as well. About to order a Slant Brake this week for it. By end of barrell, it looks threaded as it has a clear space between sleeve and is not tapered to the very edge like the supposed non threaded ones.
  6. Tail end of my VERY FIRST 30 round clip through the gun. It is no longer a virgin. Thought I was going to have a hell of a time getting it sighted in and adjusted...guess not. Anyone else have good luck with theirs right out of the box? This one is from Classic
  7. Brought her to the range, holy shit I am in love with this thing. ha Enjoy my short video (range doesn't like it if you shoot video for some reason but we got the tail end of my first 30round mag in) This was at 11.5 out. I figured out of the box it would need some adjustment with my AK sight tool...but no, nothing. I mean I looked at my target after and was damn surprised and happy at the same time.
  8. You don't like the highly collectable "match stricker" series?? Why is that there on some of them anyways? Importers bought another importers batch or something?
  9. Really depends what you want your rifle to LOOK like when it's all said and done. Besides look, they both function the same. The 132, some people prefer the longer handguard, and it is an improvement from the original AK style. The 332, some people want to have a genuine Russian AK that has the classic styling (front end) with little to no work involved. Other than look, its the same rifle really. Ask yourself what you want to do with it, then decide. If you want a nice looking tactical style AK, 132. If you want to restore back to a classic wood furniture AK, 332 as the
  10. I am out of RI, but AFS in N. Attelboro is my "home" range. It's right over the border and a very nice place to practice at.
  11. LOL. Really poor idea. Weld it in, or make threads and secure hardware with loctite.
  12. Hey you're somewhat local! Ever shoot at AFS? I think for my next Saiga an IZ332 will be what I start off with for a base. I want to do wood stock/handguard/pistol grip however so it looks a bit different than what I have now.
  13. I've heard that they strengthen the receiver, stabilize the magazines in the mag well, and make it easier to reload. You won't have to tilt the gun completely sideways to know the exact position of the magwell. From a structural perspective, Dimples do increase the overall resistance to flex of metal, however I am not really sure with how small the dimples are on my AK if they actually do anything to benefit it. Also I would love to see if this is true, but supposedly the stabilization of the mags is a bust. I have seen where that sourced from and I tend to believe it as it makes
