  1. Hello again, after years of just accepting my ejection problem I started looking into it again. I went to the range and shot about 20 rounds and got 4-5 FTE, exactly as before, stovepiping and even getting stuck in the far left of the receiver. My extractor did not seem to be to short or worn off, my bolt wasnt that loose eihter. Looking at the shells that got stuck I noticed it was weird that they had the typical ak dent, so they must of been on their way out but bounced back in. I loaded a Mag and just charged the gun by hand without the dust cover on, everytime the bullets would eject the

  4. Does anybody know a shop in the UK that sells bulletguides for the saiga?
  5. Oh that sucks, 7,62x39 is all over here in the surplus market, same as the 54R, cheapest ammo I've seen around. Nice collection by the way.
  6. In Germany its a Semi Auto, the Laws are a bit complicated. As a sportshooter like me one can only buy guns that are approved for competition use. Before buying a gun I have to fill out a form and send it to the Sportshooter Union and then they confirm that i indeed am an active shooter and then I must still go to the district office and get the first stamp in my license reading then Semiauto - 7,62x54R in this case. Then im able to purchase the gun, return within 2 weeks to the district office and get the final stamp. Getting a Gun license isnt really hard, it takes 1 year of active shootin
  7. Just got an Email from Dinzag telling me they are not able to export any parts except tools
  8. I just wanted to show you guys what im saving up for Izhmash made Tigr with the nice wood stock and flashhider, closest thing to an original SVD. Costs about 1900€ = 2500$ new from my dealer. They have been up for sale for about 2 years here in Germany.
  9. I will email dinzag if it is possible to ship a bulletguide, wish me luck.
  10. Thank you guys for the tips, I will report as soon as i get myself one of the mags. Another quick question, will these mags fit and feed buy adding a feedlip or is there more to them? http://www.zib-militaria.de/epages/61431412.sf/de_DE/?ObjectPath=/Shops/61431412/Products/120005 http://www.zib-militaria.de/epages/61431412.sf/de_DE/?ObjectPath=/Shops/61431412/Products/120052[2] Could one say that generally all AK-74 Mags will fit the Saiga?
  11. Will these magazines fit into a Saiga 223 without a bulletguide? http://www.mm-militaria.de/ak74-magazin-durchsichtig-kaliber-nato-p-916.html http://www.mm-militaria.de/ak74-magazin-schwarz-kaliber-nato-p-599.html I live in Germany and its near impossible to get a bulletguide here due to none of the shops like Kvar or Dinzag shipping outside of the USA. With some luck I was able to buy a Bakelite mag that was converted for the Saiga 223 but havent seen anything since and I dont really feel like buying the Izhmash mags for 70€ each.
  12. So heres my German Saiga By the way, is it possible to move the Scope forward. I dont want to get a different stock, and the extra buttpad is to short :/
  13. Ok so I took my Bolt apart and cleaned everything. Today I went to the range and still got the same problem. I took Pictures everytime. I was using PMC 55gr. I noticed that the typical AK dent was on the shells, meaning they must be getting stuck in the ejector or they are maybe bouncing back into the reciever? How can i check the spring or ejector for faults?
  14. So I´ve had my Saiga for 3 Months now and i keep getting shells stuck between the bolt because they aren't getting thrown out properly(roughly every 10th shot). The first 200 rounds I didn't get this problem. Iv'e tried all kinds of different ammo from 55gr to 62gr and 63gr (PMC, WOLF, Tulammo, Geco, TopShot). Im using 2 10round Izhmash Magazines. Any Ideas?
  15. Ive been having the same problem with the shells getting stuck or even double feeding..have tried all kinds of ammo..only solution was to really clean the gun well and lube it but an AK shouldnt be having these problems??
  16. It's all legal, I just wasnt sure if it would fit or if there are other ways of doing it. So the K-var parts should fit ? I just have to make sure because of the importing.
  17. So I got myself a Saiga .223 and now I would like to get a Flashhider. I havent got the normal Saiga, I live in Germany and we only get these here: As you see I cant attach a flashhider or even cut a threading for one. Would I be able to replace the Frontsight block with a new one that already has a flashhider thread ? I was thinking of something like this: http://www.k-var.com...&cat=290&page=1 Would this fit my Saiga? Thanks in advance
