  1. Whats up guys. I really want to start working a conversion on my new saiga. I had in mind doing the full conversion installing a collapsible stock, pistol grip(also adding the CA compliant bullet button), hand rail and moving the trigger group forward. I want to save money and I was looking at the tapco conversion kit. Should I save my money and get something a bit better or will I be good with tapco? I've been looking at CSS and I have seen magpul on their website along with many more brands. Im still new and need more help so I can make a good choice. Websites and prices will help thanks.
  2. Finally got my 7.62x39 Saiga! I've only gotten the scope and ProMag 10/30 round CALI mags so far. Conversion coming soon....
  3. Alright, so I'll definitely convert my Saiga. I hear many good things about the g2 trigger. How about the tapco t6 stock and hand rail? Will I be ok with tapco furniture?
  4. Im kinda scared to mess with it myself so I might just pay a gunsmith to do it. Im still new with guns. Thanks for your responce.
  5. I'm planning on changing out my saiga's cheap montecarlo stock it comes with and replacing it for a tapco t6 stock. There's a Tapco kit that doesn't require me to more the trigger group forward. My question is, should I chose that option or should I do a conversion and move the trigger forward like a traditional ak? I'm not sure if it will make a big difference? Can anyone help? Thanks.
  6. Yeah I know sucks we can only have 10 round mags. I was considering regular AK mags on my Saiga because they are way cheaper! I cant get 30 mags here so I have no intentions of getting into serious trouble with the law. If its going to cost me too much I guess i can only stick with the saiga mags.
  7. Great website. I just added a new site to my computers bookmarks!
  8. So I want to change the original handguard on my saiga and put one that you see on other ak's. I've done some research and did see that i would have to get a few new parts. I'm not sure if im correct, but can any one help and tell me what do i need to convert it properly and also how much will this cost me? Original 7.62x39 Saiga... ....and this is what I want my Saiga to look like Also, what do I need to do if I want to allow my saiga to take regular ak magazines? Im a new shooter and would appreciate help from more experienced shooters.

  12. I'm definitely hand picking my AK. A local gun shop has a few in stock and will give me a good deal on it compared to other shops in my area. Thanks for the advice. Appreciate your opinion and experience. It sure helps to hear it from someone who already owns one.
  13. I'm looking for an AK47. The Romanian WASR is a candidate on my list. Any one has any good or bad feedback on this AK? Saigas are on backorder for who knows how long. So I need other options.
  14. It sure is! But i think their too expensive. I'm not sure if I should spend that much money on it.
  15. I've been in the market for a 7.62x39 Saiga in the sporting configuration. I have looked online and in my local gun shops and they are all on backorder. I just shot the Saiga ak 47 from Arsenal at a local range and I really liked it. Besides arsenal, what other Ak brands do you guys recommend? I want something that is affordable but reliable and durable. There is just so many AK47 makers out there so I wanted feedback and opinions. The cheaper I can get one for, the better. Thanks!
  16. I've been looking at a 7.62x39 Saiga. Every local gun shop I call they tell me that the saiga in that particular caliber is on back order and they dont know when they will get more in stock. Im considering a Saiga in .308. Any one have an idea how much I should expect pay for one in .308 caliber? Any good websites out there? I live in California. The "Crossroads of the West Gunshow" is coming to my city in march. You guys think I can find one there for a good deal? Thanks!

  20. In the land of the internet all caps indicates yelling/shouting IN THE LAND OF INTERNET, YOU SHOULD JUST FUCKING REALIZE IT'S TEXT ON A SCREEN MAN! Thanks for listening. Thank you lol just joking, it for what ever reason is considered proper etiquette to not use all caps, all caps is considered yelling, yeah makes no sense to me either. as for your question, a couple of things, good ammo helps to get consistent groups several consider Lapua match grade ammo one of the best, but it cost .50 cents to a dollar a round when you can find it, (gunbroke
  21. I live in california. If i were to convert my saiga stock and add a pistol grip I would have to install a mag lock. Sucks but thats what I would need to do to be compliant to California's regulations. Will a dragunov stock be considered a pistol grip? Curious and would like to find out.
  22. why does every one get offended with the cap locks? i came to http://forum.saiga-12.com because i know this forum is for saiga fans and owners.
