  1. In NK, it was probably a bunch of prisoners digging the tunnels.
  2. Possibly 200 North Koreans killed in tunnel collapse at test site: http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/10/31/200-feared-dead-after-tunnel-collapses-at-north-korean-nuclear-test-site-japanese-tv-claims.html We could have only hoped the crazy fat kid was among them, obviously he wasn't...
  3. I bought a pair of Kamick boots earlier this year during a big sale, but it hasn't been cold enough yet to try them out! They seem very well made and comfortable, though, for the brief period I tried them on after buying.
  4. Truth In Advertising law needs to be adapted for and applied to teachers, reporters, journalists, and, most of all, politicians. We need this NOW! Sure... right after we figure out what the meaning of "is" is... That particular instance, and when Pelosi famously screeched, "You have to pass the bill to see what's in it!" are two particular occasions when each of them should have been bodily dragged outside and thrown down the marble steps.
  5. It should at least be legal (and encouraged!) to take elected officials who were caught lying/cheating/stealing and lock them in the stocks in the public square for a while! Expired fruit and vegetables would be provided on-site by the overstock from the EBT programs.
  6. There's also the huge market for all the "Fantasy Football" stuff. I've had coworkers who were addicted to that crap.
  7. I posted the link with the least number of pop-ups and crap on the page, there are plenty more links to be found.
  8. Bumping this back up... The FBI has (sort of) released 1500 (redacted) pages of info they've collected on Adam Lanza. https://www.metro.us/news/the-big-stories/sandy-hook-shooter-adam-lanza-pedophile
  9. ^ That's a good point! I think the pressure-effects of the brakes DO have more of an influence than just the weight would, but it should probably be tested just to set a baseline and compare the results.
  10. I expect to see this in movies very soon. It would seem right at home in the world of Firefly/Serenity.
  11. What's the general consensus on compensator holes drilled in to the barrel? I've seen several new shotguns that have patterns of holes drilled to (hopefully) reduce muzzle rise. Do these work well, and is there an accepted pattern to follow? Is Mag-Na-Port still in business? I have a T-C Encore 22-250 that my Dad had the barrel ported this way.
  12. How do you like the Key-Mod setup? I haven't used it yet, but it looks good.
  13. Huh?! You mean just like the guy in the camo that was found in the woods behind Newtown Elementary School? The one who's first words were, "I didn't do it." That guy? Oh... linky: http://www.theblaze.com/news/2017/10/13/security-guard-in-las-vegas-shooting-inexplicably-disappears-moments-before-interviews/
  14. Now I wonder if the guard was on Hold with 911, then the system got overwhelmed by all the calls?
  15. We could list a lot more nuts than that one, many of them in D.C.!
  16. Just a SWAG, but with so many rifles in the room, and many with bipods, who's to say he didn't fire two rifles of two different calibers at the same time?
  17. WTF guys?! I clicked on that video link and got a flashing red screen, virus alerts out the wazoo, bait-n-switch links trying to get me to do something and I had to use Task Manager to End Task on Firefox!!
  18. Hitlery would not have a clue that a suppressor could possibly reduce the muzzle flash as well, if she even knows what muzzle flash is.
  19. Just a civilian here, but would the GI Bill funds cover the post-graduate work? Get the 4-yr. degree, do his service, then go for the doctorate on the GI Bill? Does that work?
  20. It seems to me we're asking all the same questions we had after the CO movie theater shooting and the Newtown school shooting... Did anyone really get any answers? Nope. All this has happened before, and will happen again.
