I just want to say these guys are awesome. They answered the phone and walked me through my new gun transformation. They were extremely helpful. I bought the Shorty PreXN on close out, shorty guide rod, and breacher full choke. It looks and feels great. Pics aren't uploading

All the new ones are out. It would be hard to find one with the jewel. I've had mine almost a year now and mine does not have the jewel.

Pretty sure you have to change it. It helps for the cheap stuff to cycle.

I went with the Tromix. It fit great and I had no issues. I obviously did not try the Firebird. Tony has been a great help here, not saying anything bad about Firebird, but that's why I gave him the business.

I went the way of the hogue grip and it totally changed the feeling of the gun. so much better.

Personally Id rather have a gun/mag that runs an assortment. In a Zombie invasion ammo will be scarce lol
