I have a 7.62x39 Saiga with a AK74 type flash hider on it...I believe the threads are 24mm. What options are out there for a muzzle device that is a little shorter but still looks good? seen the 24mm to 14mm adapters but they may be just as long when it is all said and done. Are there any one piec 24mm slant brakes? Hit me with some ideas and photos! Here she is in current config...

It was converted by Atlantic Firearms but I installed the Ironwood handguards on it! It came with black plastic originally.

I have a CNC Warrior Night Brake on my Yugo and it really seems to cut back the recoil compared to the slant that it came with...

I guess I am a "Classic" fan. Although, I now have a set of black and wood fore grips for my Underfolder. I can change whenever I feel like it!

Thanks NMO, that looks like what I need! I guess the million dollar question is where can I find 2 of them? My Yugo has a bit of a rattle also. My LGS doesn't have any and gave me that 'deer in the headlights' look when I asked if he could order a couple!

Just wanted to post a pic of my Bushmaster. It's a M4A1/CAR-15 clone. I originally got it because I liked the Nam era CAR-15's and this was a dead ringer for one. I later got bored and added the VFG and carry handle red dot scope. I'm picking up a couple LMT lowers tomorrow to start my first build. It will be a flat top 20" and the other lower will be socked away for a rainy day (That one may end up being a 20" triangle fore grip M16 clone! Who else dabbles in the dark side of Evil Black Rifles?

Agree...I have a Yugo M70B1 and the entire thing is heavy duty! I noticed that the barrel is even thicker than my Saiga 7.62. Both are good bu not interchangeable!

Is it like a spring clip or an "H" clip or something? I don't have one but maybe I can find at my LGS...

I was originally going to get a WASR or Polish UF but when I researched Saiga's, I didn't want anything else except for Russian hardware! (In my price range, anyway!)

Sorry, it is the gas tube. The wood is snug on the GT, but the tube itself is moving fore and aft.

I got the new wood on my Underfolder and it looks awesome! But (there is always a but) the top hand guard has a slight rattle. It is from forward to back movement. It only moves a pube but enough to cause an audible rattle. How can I shim it up to stop the noise? It did rattle with the black plastic guard also.
