  1. Got it! i dont know what happened at the finishers, but after looking closer at it the barrel on the inside of the reciever, where the bolt extration arm fits into the barrel had been hit dropped, IDK. Anyway it was binding up the bolt. Free as a bird now though, rockin' and rollin'. Thanks for the imput though.
  2. This may be different from city to city also, but I was not required to get the local LEO to sign off. All that was required of me in that regard is to infom them of my intent.
  3. I havent contacted Legion yet, I will give them a shot. RSR finally got some in but they could only give me 3. They are the new Russian Weapons Co imports. I talked to RWC today also and was not impressed at all. Kept me on the phone for 15 minutes asking questions and going through the "yes you can be a dealer...." Then when it came time to order them he said, "Oh, Were out of stock right not..." LOL I like classic arms, I should give them a call. That price is a little higher than what I usually pay, but it would be worth it if the have them. Besides, I like those guys anyway. Thanks
  4. I am in the Keyser area, I'll check out Atlantic. Thanks
  5. Does anyone keep a decent stock on Saiga's? All my suppliers lately only bring in a few at a time, it's driving me nuts! Do any of you know of someone that actually keeps them in stock? I have several orders for conversions right now and am tired of having to order 1 here, 1 there..etc. Is there someone that offers a stocking dealer program, or something similar? I would prefer buying in bulk if I could just find one reliable source. Anyone willing to share some secrets...LOL. Thanks, Mike
  6. Are there any FFL's that have a good source for Saigas? All my suppliers are ify at best on their stock, I have a bunch of orders for conversions right now, and am tired of chasing them around for one or two at a time. I wouldn't even mind buying 10-15 at a time if I can just find someone that will keep them in stock. PM me Thanks Mike
  7. Reading over these posts I realize how misinformed people are concerning FFL's. The FFL 123 is a good kit and Brandon is a good guy that is reachable and willing to help. There is a lot to it, so make sure you do your homework, but it's not as hard as you think, follow the plan. I am a home based class 3 manufacturer, I was awarded my lic in January, so I know it can be done. I will tell you there is not much markup in firearms, but you can make money doing it. Best of luck Reading over these posts I realize how misinformed people are concerning FFL's. The FFL 123 is a good kit and Br
  8. I did change out the front end but it is not railed.
  9. Ok, I have gone through all the threads and haven't found anything that helps. I may have overlooked something though, if that is the case I appologize for this thread. Heres the situation, I worked on the new saiga when I first got it. It was cycling cheap wal-mart ammo just fine. Did the conversion and had it refinished, then it won't eject. Sometimes it will try to, but doesn't quite make it. I have reprofiled hammer, bolt and carrier and all have been polished. I have tried turning the gas port adjustment knob clockwise to almost 2 again, this helps but doesn't fix the problem. Gas por
  10. near Keyser here, would be nice to find a few saiga people close by to compare notes and shoot with. I just finished my first conversion and working out the kinks. Man this is addicting.
