  1. If 14 is the correct number, a piston change and a U.S. mag would do the trick. Pretty sure the FCG has no U.S. replacement parts. You don't think the hammer is the same?
  2. Well, from the looks of that trigger housing, I doubt you could change the trigger, but possibly change hammer, disconnector and piston. That still leaves you one part shy if you want to use foreign high capacity mags. BTW, who has the 7.62x39 Pioneer for sale?
  3. I'm considering one of these Pioneers too. Jim, what did you find out on 922R?
  4. Agreed. I miss his avatar from the old days.
  5. Don't need one there. The poll is for promag drum owners only. I put the don't own one to differentiate between the people that own one capacity drum, but not the other. Much appreciated bro. I hope I did not step on any toes running the poll. Should I have asked first?
  6. Thanks man. I plan to let it run for a month or two, then graph the results. Thanks for participating everyone!
  7. To date, I haven't heard of any reliability issues from a promag drum after fitting it correctly to your rifle. The only negative thing I have heard is from people who didn't get the instructions or didn't read them and tried to run the drum without fitting it. So let's hear it. Have you ever had any problems? Please only answer if you have a promag drum for the Saiga 12.
  8. ^^This! Sling that shotgun hard onto your back and bring out the pistol. SLING IT AND BRING IT! Change mags on the shotty behind cover.
  9. +1 Yall just got trolled. Stop feeding him and he will go away.
  10. PM Boba Debt, he will likely sell you one modified for a 410.
  11. While I have always liked Boba Debt's bullpups and modified quad rails, I also like this more simplistic design of Kanur's. It reminds me of this: Also, Boba, quit being a dick. Not everyone has your skills or experience when it comes to bullpups. That's not sarcasm either, I really respect your work, but don't pound on the newbie cause he took a different, more simplistic approach.
  12. It could be under gassed. How does the gas port look? Also, how hard is it to hand cycle? When hand cycling, are there any FTE problems? Working the spring by working the action alot is a good thing as well. Are you shooting 3" target loads or hunting loads? What exactly did the gunsmith do? I don't know what an ejection slot is. Take the spring out, work the action and see how smoth it is, something could be hanging up there as well.
  13. Let's have some more info in your shotgun. What brand and type shells are you getting FTE's on? Describe the FTE. Are they staying inside the shotgun? Are they stovepiping? What Mags are you using? Russian or surefire? What size? How many rounds through it? Has it been converted to PG configuration? Be ready to post pics when asked to. There is alot of talent on this forum and there is a good chance it can be sorted out! ETA: Describe in depth when this is happening. First round, last round, middle of mag.
  14. Thanks for the update and the time you took to make the video!
  15. +1 I bought a reloader for 410 a couple of months ago. It's still in the box though.
  16. I've never had a FTF or FTE out of my S308, but I've never run Sellier & Bellot through it. I've run damn near everything else through it though. For what it is worth, I did run some Sellier & Bellot 9mm through 2 different pistols that have never had FTE, and both had problems with it. Neither pistol has ever had trouble with any ammo, from winchester to wolf to Monarch. This happened last month, the ammo is new production.
  17. I looked at the link and he's definitely got it priced like a real Russian mag. However, I've never heard of one. I suspect it's either a Russian 10 rounder and he's made a typo, or it's not a real Russian mag.
  18. But it creates US jobs. Stabbing strangers keeps nurses employed too, that doesn't make it right. Brilliant!
  19. Just to be clear, they were hanging on bottom or top of chamber?
  20. Bah, if you fuck up we are allowed to bust your balls a little! I expect everyone to do the same to me. Welcome to the forums!
  21. After conversion, mine would not cycle low brass reliably. I read extensively on it here and decided to enlarge the gas ports, even bought some new bits to do it. About 8 hours before I was about to start, someone here in the forums sent me a PM and talked me into running some higher power loads through her and loosen her up. It worked like a charm. 300 rounds later and no FTEs. I still got an MD Arms V-plug. As with ANY saiga though, YMMV.............
