  1. I used 10112. It is the one mounted to a plastic plate. The plastic plate and tromix stock overlap each other in different areas, but it is very hard to notice and to me it looks like it belongs there. This is NOT the one that most people use on this stock. It is the one my local gunshop had in stock that matched the length exactly. Click on the images and have a close look and make sure this is what you want it to look like. Personally I like this better than the others, but everyone is different.

  4. He didn't happen to mention how he came about them?
  5. All this has done is stop them from banning S-12s from import, something our little community has been worried about since they released their study of the importablity of "Non-Sporting" shotguns. It basically defunded this attempt as no paid member of Uncle BATFuck is allowed to continue down this path. Furthermore it prevents them from banning anything from import that was OK'd for import up to the beginning of this year, thus it seems that Saiga-12s are now safe. It did some other things like stop funding for "Gun Walking" and stop funding for releasing firearm trace data for the use of com
  6. No, not hardly. Someone snuck this in under the radar. It's why WE didn't even hear about this until AFTER it was voted into law. I'm betting Uncle BATFuck didn't even hear about it until this morning, and I'd bet good money they probably heard it HERE ON SAIGA-12.COM first.......which reminds me, if you are out there listening boys, CHECKMATE, YOU JACK-BOOTED MOTHERFUCKERS!
  7. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=261727795 So you found a vendor with some, bought some, there are more left, but you are refusing to release vendor info while you are auctioning your extra off on GB? Nice play! I am jealous of your level of evilness! However, ya know, they gonna linch you for that here. Good luck man.
  8. Problem with the judge is that only a few models shoot 3" shells and they are a but unwieldy. The majority only shoot 2 1/2 inch shells and all the good holsters are made for these models. This leaves us with a problem if we want to stock up on 410. I was holding out hope that the drum would feed 2 1/2 inch shells, now I'm more disappointed than ever. Any chance that puppy will feed the smaller shells?
  9. My question is who snuck this in? Who is responsible, is he up for reelection and is he accepting campaign contributions yet? I.m ready to send him a check.
  10. Thats a double edged sword! Part of me says yes, so we can have cheap(er) factory 8's, the other part says fuck no since i already have 3 not so cheap factory 8's. Mullet man this I'd the kind of think that hurts of hobby and also make overturning the 1986 machine gun ban impossible. I get what you mean but everyone should be will to take a hit now so we can have cooler toys cheaper later. Not being mean or anything, I just wanted to point that out. Don't fault him for being honest. What if the law had done away with 922R altogether and suddenly Russia flooded the market with ch
  11. Let's move it over to this thread. Lot's more info and the OP posted an hour before I did. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/72352-possible-protections-for-saiga-12-importation/

  13. Was thinking the Now that would be sweet! I would love to have that on my Saiga 308! Was thinking the exact same thing. I went with a CAA with adjustable cheek adapter on my 308 because it was all they had out at the time. It works well, but sure isn't easy on my shoulder. I would switch over to a magpul in an instant if they came out with a limbsaver for it!
  14. To me this actually looks better than the pics with the tromix limbsaver prefitted. It also has some screw holes in the bottom, so if I ever had a problem with the plumbers goop, I could always drill and tap the tromix stock. Mine is now drying on the kitchen counter. I am VERY PLEASED with this option. Thanks again bro.
  15. Thank you so much for the reply. Just picked one up and it is a perfect fit!
  16. I have a Tromix stock on and I want to put a Limbsaver on it. All the vendors seem to be sold out of them. Anyone know where I can get one?
  17. I am curious how this turned out, because I'd like to do the exact same thing (18.5" OAL + Tromix shark brake). What was the diameter of your ports and how much did you enlarge them? I forget who told me (Cobra maybe?) that if your ports are already 0.093" in diameter, you are better off adding a 4th port rather than enlarging the existing ports. I guess 3 larger diameter ports let more fouling into the gas system than 4 smaller ports. Makes sense though... Haven't done anything yet with it, it's still sitting on my kitchen counter. I considered going with 4 ports, but don't want the ha
  18. Definitely got issues cycling low brass after the conversion. I'll start tomorrow morning on enlarging the ports.
  19. I agree as well Not good advice. I definitely agree with evlblkwpnz on this one. I agree as well. I do however plan on getting a V-plug. In fact I meant to order it with the rest of the conversion parts. However, it wont help me until I get this thing cycling correctly.
  20. Thanks man. Will prolly end up sending you bolt as well.
  21. ah scratch that. Third was covered up by metal shavings and oil from drilling receiver rivets. Did I mention I am functionally retarded? BTW anyone got a link to a thread dealing with gas block removal when I decide to open up the ports a lil?
  22. Well shit, after 30 minutes into the conversion, I glanced back at gas port. Could have sworn I saw 3, but I'm only counting 2.......
