  1. Ok thanks, ill just use it and see if it gets better
  2. I just got my new surefire 10 round magazine the other day. Unlike with the factory 5 round magazine where u can just push the follower down when loading, the 10 round mag i have to push the rounds against the back of the mag while loading or it wont go down. Seems Like the first round gets stuck on something but i can't see anything.
  3. Mine works so much better with the factory puck compared to the reliability kit. I put in the css puck and new gas knob with 5 settings. I mean i didn't use the reduced recoil spring but it took setting 5 before it would cycle low brass where setting 1 will work on factory puck. I figured id use them for better gas cycling and 5 settings for gas but looks like ill be staying with the factory setup
  4. Is there a top and bottom to the factory puck or doesn't it matter which way it goes in
  5. Yea you guys were right, i took it out and shot some slugs out of it and it got rid of most of it. Just was making sure ot wasn't anything bad but im glad thats all it was so thanks alot guys!
  6. yeah it got fairly hot and thanks for the info, i didnt know it was chromed lined. So if i shoot some slugs through it, it should go away?
  7. looks like its scratched or pitted the whole way around the barrel about a 1" long right after the chamber. I tried to get a picture of it, but its impossible to get a clear picture where you can see it good You'll run in to this a lot, all I can suggest is to get after it with a brass brush, or leave it until the next time you shoot. Run a slug through it and it'll come out... So that is normal and its nothing to worry about? What causes this to happen, is it the bird shot or something? I tried to get the brass brush in there and spin it alittle around that area, but its h
  8. also while cleaning i have noticed in the barrel right after the chamber there is something stuck in the barrel i can't get off. It looks like when you use adhesive tape and remove it, there is all that extra sticky residue left over, thats what it looks like in the barrel. What would this be and or what can i do to get rid of it
  9. i do have a couple more questions now that ive had it for a day. Is it more so designed to load the magazine with the bolt open? I had a heck of a time trying to load the magazine with it fully loaded. #2. Is there any tricks to getting the reciever cover back on? I struggled a bit getting the front into the little slot and then getting something to push in the button and to snap in. Is there a easier way to do it? Lastly, what all are the tools that are included with it used for exactly? Are they both supposed to be just a screwdriver or are they made for a specific purpose? Im guessi
  10. Yea it did for alittle and then tried setting 1 again and then it wouldn't fully eject so had to go back to #2
  11. Well i just got my saiga today and i think im quite lucky. Im at the range and trying a bunch of different ammo. Started by shooting probably 10-15 rounds of slugs and then switched to the federal walmart low brass bulk target load. It shoots the cheap target load perfectly on both settings 1&2 with no failure to eject so far. I love this gun!!
  12. What do you recommend using, the 2 3/4" or 3" shells? Does one tend to work better than the other? I just ordered the gun yesterday so i should have it by Tuesday or Wednesday, so im going to pick up ammo tonight for it.
  13. ok ill do that. This is my first shotgun so im not really up on shotgun shells, so ill have to look around to see what the cheapest ammo is compared to the good ammo for testing to see what it will handle
  14. Are you still selling them at this price?
  15. Thanks for this info guys, exactly the info i needed to start off. I know im the newbie and we get the hecklings for a bit haha which its cool, its kinda like a welcome to the forum thing. We do it to all newbies on the galantvr4.org forum as well, but its all in good fun. With everything being said ill convert it myself, im pretty handy so im sure i can handle it. Once i get one and see how it fuctions with what ammo, ill go from there to upgrading it. You said you can upgrade the gas system for free, what actually do you do it? I would like to be able to shoot all types of shells, cheap
