Parabellum Armaments Left handed charging handle.

Just cruisin' by this morning and found this thread. Checked out the Dublin system and thought their Gen II Ambi Charging System was BRILLIANT! ...something old Mikhail Timofeyevich should have thought of. I don't shoot my Saiga often enough to justify the cost but, given a choice at the time of purchase, this is easily the better option! BRILLIANT... just BRILLIANT! -

Anyone have a spare Receiver Dust Cover they'd be willing to part

I should think $20.00 shipped for a clean dust cover would be reasonable. -
Hi All, Last year I completed a little project to JB Weld a rail to the top of my gas tube. A lot of you thought it a fools errand but it turned out pretty good and is still rock solid. Here's how it looks with my old BSA RD30 Red Dot on it: (I made sure I had a spare gas tube before I got started in case the nay sayers were correct.) At this point I would like to add a a full length rail to the top of my receiver dust cover. And, again, I want a spare in case I screw up. Do any of you have a spare dust cover you'd be willing to part with in support of this project? I'd b

I already have a rail on my gas tube. Will the rear section be offered by itself? If so, approximate price? Thanks!

Hi All, I have been contemplating threading the barrel on my 7.62 for a Muzzle Brake. However, in an AR forum I frequent, several members have tested accuracy with an array of barrel accessories. To a man, they report that the addition of any front-end accessory hinders accuracy. Many of them have removed the stock A2 brake in favor of a simple thread protector. What say you?

I am in the process of converting my Century converted AK back to a Saiga Sporter Rifle. I am looking to purchase a pre-conversion Trigger Guard and pre-conversion Trigger Assembly Bottom Plate. There are a number of YouTube videos on the conversion but none I can find on reversing the process. Any suggestions (like, for instance, where to find or what to use in place of the various rivets, etc.) will be greatly appreciated!

Hi All, I am looking to reverse my Century Saiga conversion from the AK configuration back to a Saiga Sporter Rifle. Anyone know where I can find an original Trigger Guard and Rear Trigger Bottom Plate? Many thanks in advance!

Short History Lesson: In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated. China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, -

DNR, I don't understand your reply. Since we're not cutting into the barrel, itself, but rather the bushing on the outside of the barrel... are you saying that cutting the bushing off leaves a burr on the inside of the barrel?

Hi All, After much research through the appropriate threads it's time for me to cut the muzzle fitting off the front of my Saiga x39. From the front of the FSB to the end of the barrel it measures a tick over 1-inch. The smallest pipe cutter I Have requires a minimum of 7/16-inch to the center of the wheel. Questions I have not found answers for in my thread searches: 1. Does anyone have a "thinner" pipe cutter to recommend? 2. If I use mine, will 9/16-inch leave enough thread surface for most muzzle brakes? 3. What should I expect once I've cut to the barrel? 3A. One th

How does the Ruger Mini-30 compare to the AK platform?
DrDyno replied to DrDyno's topic in Saiga 7.62 X 39
hutchsaiga thinks I should be banned for it Hutch has kicked my ass once or twice. However, his PM's are well thought and helpful. It's just the thread posts that sometimes send him into orbit. -

DrDyno replied to DrDyno's topic in Saiga 7.62 X 39
Thanks to all of you for your input on this topic. If my friend is willing to start his rifle relationship with a 10/22, I think it's an excellent recommendation. Although, I know he has the money and probably the desire for something more in keeping with his survivalist attitude. He's a big guy and will probably view the 10/22 as something more for his 8-year old son than for himself. Past the 10/22, I will recommend the AK platform and, if it will make him happy to spend big bucks on it, I guess I'll recommend the American-made Century-39. Thanks again!
