I keep two factory 5 rounders loaded with 00 in the safe for home defense. I purchased 10 12-round SGMs when I first bought by V12 and have used 5 and the other 5 are still wrapped up. Of those 5 all have worked flawlessly. The only reason I don't use them for home defense is that they are too long to keep conveniently stored and accessible in the gun safe. Purchase with confidence. Once the Russian 8-rounders and 10-rounders come down to a reasonable price, I will probably buy a few of those. By far the V12 is my favorite weapon to shoot. The SGMs have fed all types of ammo flawlessly.
Someone was listening...
5 pack of Molot 8-rounders at Legion USA comes to $74 per mag... Killer deal!
-
Damnit! lol great deal...
-
I will attempt to contact Alexander. I've realized it's nothing more than a cut-out of the original vepr mag with home-made 5 round extension (like the maxrounds.com extension, but most likely from an existing chopped molot mag).
The magazine release is the same that is sold on shooters-shop ru with the push of the thumb. They even carry the mag clip there. The mag release is available and importable for US customers.

Most Russian IPSC shooters now prefer to buy Molot Arms 10 Rounders than to make it themselves, - keeps time, work well, cost cheaper than buy 2 8 Round Mags for making 1 10 Round Mag.These 10 rounders work as well as the 5 and 8 rounders. I prefer the grip also.
By know the Molot 10 Round press form doesn't exist, production of it in the future plans of Molot, they are 100% decided to make it, the question is only when.Nice to know, I'm going to wait for Molot to create the one piece 10 rounders... if they import them
I have spoken to an owner who ran two molot 8 rounders together to make 14 rounds. Do you know anyone who has done this as well?

OK, I get the pun and all, but the title keeps bugging me.
It is a pig labeled "wolf" shrouded in chaos.
The same thing crossed my mind also, but I was still waiting on a response on the details of the beast itself...

Your piston rod play room looks fine, but I would call and verify with the importer (or pm papazorro or evlblkwpnz or tac47) and send him a link of your video as well.
When you say target ammo, it's too vague as there's a hundred different kinds of target ammo.
I've compiled the 12 gauge 2 2/3" shells for your reference:

Any straight-backed VEPR 47's in the future at all?
-
Details and pricing on each of the mods done to it?
Especially:
-Flat Trigger (from a Tapco G2 or RSA?)
-Left-side Charging Handle Mod
-Left-side Charging Handle Mod + Removed Right-Side Charging Handle
-Any mods done to the gas system?
I may have to drop my VEPR 12 off to you guys for these mods.
BTW the navigation text on your website is overlapping your logo.

...the gas piston threaded into the bolt carrier has a little play in it side to side where it actually threads into the bolt carrier. is this normal? ...
Please post a video of this if you can. Play on the bolt carrier itself at the location you are speaking of is not normal. It should be solid as a rock, but we will need you to post a video or multiple pics showing the amount of play you are speaking of.

I am still waiting on the status of my 2 10-rounders that I sent back to due my reliability issue of not loading a full 10 rounds successfully. I will keep you updated.
I was able to send the 10-rounders back in for an exchange since they come with a warranty (Legion is very responsive). Swapped out for an original 8-rounder and a 10-rounder. Will follow up with a functionality review of the 10-rounder once it arrives.

No, I was speaking of Bud's lifetime warranty that I probably will never use. The importer warranty is another animal.
No, I think the warranty is from the importer WPA, Wolf. The lifetime warranty is from Bud's?
Correct, the lifetime warranty is through Buds, but now at a price of 59.95, not recommended since the VEPR 12 is highly unlikely to break down from defect. The lifetime warranty is from Bud's?
Guys, you should attempt the checkout process. Right now, the only cash option available is electronic check, meaning you would supply your bank routing and account number to pay for it (all other cash options are currently disabled). It looks like they want to have all traces of electronic of transactions now, and to eliminate the slower methods of payment at the moment.
-
Okay...Im confused. Credit cards, debit cards, checks, and money orders all fall under "cash". What else could I possibly use?
During checkout it specifically says 'Click here to read about the 3% cash discount', then after clicking it displays a popup that says:
"Certain payments including payments by credit card do not receive the 3% cash discount. Our listed prices are only for cash payment types, such as personal checks, checks, e-check/ACH and money orders. If you pay with a non-cash tender type, then your total will reflect the addition 3% full retail price.
You can preview this amount on the next page before submitting your order."I picked up two of these at 999 at buds (came with only one mag at the time) and also have the lifetime warranty if the firearm ever breaks (I'm not sure how that will ever happen since VEPRs are built for surviving the war). -
Thanks guys!
It is not my fault of missing at the forum:(((
We know you have some new pics of your VEPR 12's, so please share with us, stat!

I can't stop smiling... The welcome back party starts NOW, so crack open a beer and drink up for our fellow comrade. Glad to have you back, PapaZorro!!! Pardon my French, but this is fuckin' fantastic!
Truly one of the most knowledgable human beings on this planet on the topic of the VEPR 12.

Here's a quick mock up of rail colors (black/blued and horrible attempt at burnt bronze) I threw together in photoshop in a couple mins:

What mags and rig setup did you run with her?

Since this is not a product made by a vendor, hopefully i am doing this right. After seeing your post about an aluminum gas tube cover i used google-fu and found this.
Looks like it couls be a fun top cover for someone who does not go the way of Chaos. I already paid for my Chaos and most certainly will not be looking back. I have been wondering if the Chaos reauires the removal of the plastic gas tube cover (i certainly hope so)
No shipping to the U.S.

10 rounders have arrived!!!
Seems like some rubbery coating to bond the factory 8+ 2 rounds together.

Here's another VEPR 12 video from budsgunshop (as well as my written review for it on 02/11/2013).

I'm reviving this topic to request more pics of your gorgeous VEPR 12 EC. More like some gun pr0n, hero shots, or in-action shots of her please.
Did you end up removing or keeping the dust flap that Greg mentioned earlier?
-
Here you go fellas yay glad I dont eat dog shit now lol
Wow the rail is actually integrated into the mold!
-
holy 5 benjamins for 4 mags batman, you should be set now. i just picked up a couple as well.
Well I have two Vepr-12s. One is fully built, with UBR Stock, Cut and Perm attached brake, reprofiled and polished bolt/carrier/FCG, etc, cerakoted, etc...
So I am fully vested in the system. Need mags I can trust or it's just a toy? Put some $ into it, I won't skimp on the mags.
For the folder, I made it 922r but nothing else at this point. I may end up selling it since I have so much in this other one and I am not entirely sure I want both. Later I may sell my custom one and re-custom a folder that comes in with more desirable features.
I can only trust my life with the Molot or izzy mags here. I put the 12 rounders away and haven't touched them since the Molot 8 rounders came in. I had two fixed tanged VEPR 12's from buds also and sold one to my buddy at 999 with 12 months to pay for it, no interest. If I were you, I would SBS it as short as possible with a folder (try to turn it into a concealable vepr 12). It's good to have multiple VEPR 12's throughout the house...
