I had some issues today. First off, my S12 runs great... no issues after testing multiple ways/ammo (cheap Wally World stuff with MD20 dump from waist, etc) Mostly I was finding the round (most notably the last round) was not feeding up to the top of the mag and so- and I suspect here too? The first 2 mags I ran, all Winchester AA Sport, ran great - no problems. Then the next few mags ran good except for the last round. Then a couple had issues with the last 2-4 rounds. My comment about 'idiot' is the article said he yelled 'Hey Bear' when he saw it, but no mention of saying it BEFORE he saw it. Had he been yelling it the whole hike, the bear most likely would not have been seen. Walking to within sight THEN yelling it constitutes surprising the bear and the prelude to either a mauling or bear killing. most hunting guides use either 12ga slugs or 45/70. I killed a Fenix (TK15 I think?) on my S12 doing 100rnds as quickly as possible (relaibilty test fun). Also killed a Primary Arms Gen2 weapon light (no surprise) and one other I forget. Right now I have a Powertac Warrior on and still running bright. Nice thing was both the dead lights were fixed no questions/hassles and reside on lesser weapons.

Started seeing 7.62x39 ammo in bulk lately... sucks I don't have one! May have to remedy that situation... need .223 and .308, not to mention 22lr.
