  1. w00t w00t! Mine will be in my hands tomorrow is all goes right... tracking indicates on the truck for delivery to FFL today!
  2. Eric, I just finished mine... I need to range test it so I'll bring it on one of our shooting days Lets just say the 300yrd max at Birchwood will be no problem. We'll need to locate someplace we can shoot farther
  3. when the hell did that assclown become snoop LION? Good lord... never liked him, certainly do not now.
  4. the only thing in my cleaning kit is Frog lube. LOVE this stuff... even at -20f the stuff works great. Love the non-toxic part, and that is cleans up from a spill with no hassles. I have yet to find anything it did not - work well on... AR, AK, 1911, Glock, little .22's, big .338. Highly recommended.
  5. Yup... http://www.ktuu.com/news/shoplifting-suspect-in-wheelchair-shoots-midtown-walmart-employee-ktuu-20130316,0,2304450.story Was on that call, ran the guy into the ER. Walmart has the worse clientele. We run there constantly for all kinds of stupid shit. Their security office has a board that lists the amount of shoplifting per day... never seen it go under $4500. A DAY!! Burn 'em all down and make family parks out of the land.
  6. From the album: SwissyJim Album

just finished, for now. Getting a better scope, and changing the crush washer to a stainless one to match the barrel, but otherwise done.
  7. Palmetto State has a lower parts kit for $29 (in stock while I am writing this) that does not include the FCG... easy way to get the parts, yet use a quality trigger instead of the basic one. Giessle, Timney, ALG, JP... lots of options. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/psa-classic-lpk-w-o-fire-control-group.html
  8. eBay pulled the auction... http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/mar/28/ebay-shoots-down-auction-sell-jim-carrey-picture-g/#.UVSFARcVBmE.twitter
  9. They are shipping in the Group Buy on BullpupForum.com - 16" Black flat tops are first, my FDE will arrive on Tuesday then be shipped to me. A number of people have their racking numbers, and should be arriving today to a few people. Copes pre-order is the same I hear. I'll post pics as soon as mine is in.
  10. Not soon enough, dammit! I want my Tavor!! Thank God I went 16"
  11. My FDE is in there, I can see it! Hope they do make a .300blk... that would F'ing rock.
  12. There is something about an X95 in the 2013 IWI catalog, but it's not a conversion for the current Tavor SAR... I think the X95 is the .308 version. But I'm only looking at the Tavor SAR options... Already got a couple of .308's ;-) MAC's video of the Tavor, and his recent posting on the Bullpup forum, has him on record as saying the Tavor is shaping up to be his fav bullpup, and that the trigger is the best he's seen in one. There's hope... I got my invoice today for mine, so money is on the way!! Just not sure what optic's I'm going with. The wifely unit© may have my head if I b
  13. Confirmed by IWI US: .300blk barrel in the works! On their Facebook page... Will there ever be a 7.62 barrel released for the SAR? IWI US No, probably not. kCellus That-Guy Clar Ah well, a guy can hope right? Thank you for taking the time to answer. Jim Sterling Not even .300blk (7.62x35)? IWI US Good catch Jim. My bad. We are working on a .300blk. Cellus That-Guy Clark Oh that is GREAT news!! Do you have an estimated release for it? Jim Sterling YES!! this will be a day one, must have for me! Beside my Tavor of course...
  14. There are 18" models already coming... with Bayonet lugs 9# sucks, but MAC did a review and mentioned somewhere it's not as bad as you'd think. And since the entire trigger group is one assembly, there is hope of an aftermarket, lighter trigger in the future. Either way, it's gonna be fun.
  15. No need to worry anymore... straight from IWI US: IWI US It's a 16.5" barrel with the flash suppressor removed. Nothing is, or needs to be pinned. I can continue with original plans...
  16. I just got a reply on the Bullpup forum and the IWI Facebook page... the barrels are 16.5" before the flashhider and the overall is 26". I'm going to keep looking into this as it makes a big difference on some plans (*coughcough*suppressor*coughcough)
  17. Hey Darth, Where did you hear the 16" model has a pinned flash hider? I know the early model for last year's shot show had it, so they could bring it into the US and show it, but they were supposed to be full 16" barrels for the production runs that are soon being released (like mine...). Unless you know something different?
  18. I'm waiting my invoice for the 16" FDE model... rather excited to say the least! Should have it by the end of the month is all goes right
  19. Yup... Midway has been very good to me up here in AK. Far shipping prices, USPS options whereas most limit me to UPS or FedEx (ass raping on shipping) and fast service. I'll keep doing business with them for a long time to come.
  20. well, this common person is REALLY glad I got a Bushmaster .308 instead of the Armalite I was wanting. Thank God! Otherwise I'd have to sell it. Happy with the Bushy anyways... Armalite can suck it.
  21. Hummmmm... USPS flat rate works? I should be able to get 300 rounds of 2 3/4 into a 12 x 12 x 5.5 box. Maybe more? That box is $17 on their website.... I don't want to be a long term ammo mule, but I have to think that a smaller, more friendly, vendor might be able to make that work out. That's actually a smoking good deal, considering the weight, no matter where you live. I recently watched the first season of "Out Of The Wild" (the dump a bunch of people off in the bush in AK and let them "survive" for awhile). I couldn't get over how beautiful it is up there. I can't blame you one bit f
  22. The only problem with this is most people do not understand shipping to Alaska. There is *NO* ground shipping. Even if you select ground, it goes ground from the store to the regional hub of the shipper (FedEx, UPS, etc) and then by air to Alaska. They cannot and do not ship thru Canada. So regardless, you pay the super high hazmat shipping fee, which makes it no better than buying local. The ONLY way to save is to buy is SUPER bulk, and have it barged up, where they charge by the pound (like $.20 a pound?). That's what the local stores do... a few will do an order together and split the costs
