  1. Ok so what side mount do yall recommend quick release or the regular screw on one? Which is more stable?
  2. Great job man. Looks real good. Do you like the handrail? Yeah, works well and is really sturdy.
  3. What FCG are you using? The only time that a nut was messing with anything here was with the Arsenal FCG, when the nut was slightly too large to go between the triggers legs, not letting the trigger reset. This was solved by filing down the nut just a cunt hair, and then timing it in such a way that it wont touch the trigger. Never had a problem with a nut and a hammer though. Tapco FCG and trigger guard from CSS. Yeah, this is the first time I have had this problem as well, but also the first time I have used the CSS trigger guard. The end of the screw sticks out maybe 1/8th of an
  4. Does anyone have an opinion on the UTG leapers scopes from CSS? I've seen a few truglo's and vortex that seem good also
  5. Have you seen THE WALKING DEAD.... Loaded all the time all the way everyday ..... now back to those pics jamesavery posted hahaha
  6. I got the tapco conversion kit from CSS for mine also. I did use the stock screw that came with the saiga since the ones that come with the t-6 look shady. the pistol grip came with a steel nut also. The stock is a lil wobbly obviously since there is no buffer tube but for the $ its not bad and does the job. if your not wanting to spend a lot or just can't wait to tear into it (like me ...) I recommend the tapco. if you can magpul is a good choice also. here is what mines turned into so far
  7. Not for me. I have used a POSP AK mount for a while and thosands of rounds through it, also I remove it every time I am done shooting(i don't have the room in the safe with it on), holds zero great! i gonna start looking into these now. seems like it might be a good way to go in order to take the scope off, if needed, and put it on without losing zero.
  8. i actually had to rig up the bi-pod... was given to me without the mounting parts... so a little DIY and there you go. sits just as sturdy and secure. But to answer your ? , it is mounted to the swivel stud and the handguard works nice as well. im liking it a lot
  9. Actually it came threaded got lucky.
  10. Here is mine so far all thats left is a scope mount and a scope. Tapco OD furniture Tapco g2 trigger group Tapco ak74 style comp (for now) Tapco 30rnd mags harris bipod Vert grip Magpul xtm rail covers Self made sling Top pic before I put the comp on
  11. I've been reading a lot of reviews saying side mounts tend to come loose after a while and lose zero ¿ guess not true all the time. That was my first option til I read about the beryl style mount. Thought about the tex dog leg gen 2 but on a budget didn't seem necessary to get it when I could get the same out of a $40 mount I mean it seems like the beryl mount does the same as the tex dog leg gen 2 does...
  12. Agree with u on the budget part. I have a tapco tri rail on it now. Will look into that red dot tho. Thanks
  13. Just about done with my saiga conversion.last thing to do is add a scope mount and scope/optic. I'm decided on the beryl style mount from CSS, just need some pointers on red dot or scope....and what kind. Any help is much appreciated.
