  1. Can anyone tell me how long "overall length" is the Saiga 308 with the 16" barrel. Thanks
  2. I had seen on the internet some information on these and was wondering if any of you guys had in input on them. I saw the new model that is a 2x42 red/green dot. It says it has a lifetime warranty. Someone help me on this one. Thanks
  3. Has anyone used these scopes and are they any good. The only place that I have seen were these can be had are from overseas. Has anyone ran into any problems with order from overseas. And who has the best price on them. I looking for something in the 4x fixed. Also can any info be supplied on the variable versions of these. Thanks,
  4. What would be a good red dot type scope for my stock 308. I will be hunting with it but no shoots past 100yds. And I am on a budget. Thanks,
  5. What is the difference between these two, I see some advertised as Eaa and some Raa or are they the same. Thanks
  6. Thanks for all the input. I didn't say this before but I have so many rifles it's not even funny. Winchester m70 in 270wsm, 7mmm Rem Mag, Browning a-bolt 7mm-08 Weatherby Vanguard 30-06, Marlin 336 30-30,m60 .22 lr, Ruger Mini Thirty, Remington 870 express mag shotgun. and an old 1891 Argentine mauser brought back from East Berlin. I know the Saiga 308 would be a nice addition to the collection since I already have the Ruger Mini Thirty (7.62x39). Again, this forum ROCKS!
  7. If you could only get one and the choices were between the Saiga x39 or the Saiga 308. For the purpose of whitetail hunting at ranges under 150 yards. what would you get and why. I will not be altering the looks of either rifles, so the conversion thing is not an issue. By the way would the 308 be more accurate out of the box or not, also the difference in price is a not an issue either ($65). Thanks, P.S. This forum ROCKS!
  8. I have a Mini already and I love it. I have taken a few whitetails with it, but I saw this Saiga in the same 7.62x39 and I just love the look of it, as is, I wouldn't chance a thing about it. My question is if I got one and left it as is, how would it compare to the Mini. I have read a lot of threads about people converting theirs, is it for cosmetic reasons or for better performance or both. My Mini isn't the best shooting rifle in the world, but for hunting purposes at distance no greater than 100 yds it work fine for me, would the Saiga shoot as well as the Mini at that same distance or cou
