When I did mine i cut a Q-tip slightly longer than the mag release pin to hold it together and aligned while i fitted the new one in and to use as a follower. Amazingly enough a Q tip is exactly the dia. you need. Weird huh!

Thanks that was the answer I was hoping for! Just one more saiga confidence builder. I guess I should have asked has anybody ever had any issues with barrel overheating and under what condition?

What is the max shells you would put down your saiga's throat and how fast without damaging the barrel?

where are you getting your LRBHO from I've been looking all over for one with no luck. I've got the Krebs BHO notched safety but its not ideal.
