I only believe half of what I'm told, except for the 3 box limit... maybe that was because that's all I could buy! I had enough in 08 and didn't buy any then but this was the same case as in 94 prices sky rocketed then too.

I go inside and low and behold they have about 30 boxes of 7.62x39 Tulammo on the shelve for $5.17 a box, a little price increase but a lot cheaper then GB. So I tell the guy working in sporting goods I want them all, he says that the Obama admin spoke with the chiefs at Walmart and "asked them" (yeah right) to sell what ammo they had left, not order anymore and limit it to 3 boxes per person per day. I agree with you...mostly, the guns do serve a different purpose. My AR is setup for long distance shots because the 5.56 is MUCH more accurate then the 7.62 when you are looking at a target from 300 to 500 meters away the 5.56 is my first choice. Inside 200 meters things become more on a level playing field with the advange going to the 7.62x39 not in accuratacy but with pure stopping power and at inside 200 meters the 7.62 is now in its realm. If I only had one gun to grab in a day when SHTF you can bet it would be my Saiga but I hope I can grab both because one never knows what tools maybe

Well good 'ol Barry got me off my duff and I finished most of my AK, the only thing left is the flash hider other then that she complete. Slidefire stock (for fun) Eotech, green laser, surefire flash light (weapon in itself) and 75 round drum.

See here we are all so worried about this gun ban thing and good ol' Obama has come up with a surefire way of getting that big buck for everyone.

I have been picking up what I could afford, my local walmart still has them a 20 count box for 4.97 a box with VA tax 100 rounds was $26 plus change.
