  8. Saiga metal 30rd. mag made by the "old" Surefire company. Years back that company modified metal military mags for use in a standard, unmodified Saiga 7.62x39...this is one such mag. $20 USPO MO/CASH includes "priority mail with delivery conformation". Do a "google" & learn the history of this product...I have only one(1) to sell, use it as a pattern to make your own cheap metal Saiga 30rders. "CROSSLISTED"
  9. BTT & I'm adding another WTS item...if I am able to get an "edit" button for the original WTS. If no "edit" button appears after this bump, I'll add the WTS item in a new post so it can be acknowledged in the listed post-titles as existing for sale. I've made a separate posting earlier today inquiring on "how" to handle a classified edit...hoping to hear the procedure for doing the "edit" so that when the item is sold, I can post that it is SPF & no longer available...
  10. After 60 min. of surfing the site for the answer on editing the "classifieds" WTS.etc., I've come to the realization that I'm not going to be successful in editing my WTS post. I'd hoped to add another item to my current WTS listing. Also, without the knowledge to edit, how will I be able to mark my listing as no longer available...SPF,Withdrawn,etc. Surely, I'm not the only dummy...am I? I read on BVamp's 2007 post on "7 days to edit"...do I "edit" by replying to my own WTS post & call it done? Should additional new items for sale be posted in separate listings as they crop-up? What does e
  11. You can add a washer for sideways play. Add a "glob-of-mig" to the g2 trigger itself to enable the selector lever to make appropriate trigger contact.
  12. WOW!...I'm glad I decided to finally "ask why"! Thanks Makc for the forum & thanks for being "Makc". I'll try to keep my head-on-straight when posting so as to add to the knowledge available on the site. ....all the calendars have been changed,WOW!
  13. I understand that the SKS & AK front-sight posts are interchangeable. I copied the info from elsewhere long ago.I don't know jack about thread sizes but my notes say...6mm x .75 for what its worth. Maybe I copied a "typo" or wrote it down wrong, however it's very similar to your M6 x .075. Perhaps you could try a front-sight post from an SKS to get one-step closer to the answer.
  14. I'm using an FSC47 from PrimaryWeaponSystems on a Russian SKS. The recoil/muzzle rise is such that I've seen the hit on a bowling pin through the scope at 100yds. The flash at 10ft.to the side viewing is just a slight "glow" inside the unit. It sells at $100 + ship & is truly AMAZING. My next purchase will be their FSC30 for my Saiga .308. It's the same style but slightly longer with extra "braking/flash reduction" designed-in for the more powerful .308 round.
  15. I've spent nearly 60yrs. born/living in the USA. All the calendars I've ever seen started out on Sunday...running through Saturday. Why does the Saiga-12 calendar layout start on Monday & run to Sunday? To each his own...but WHY? Will the design/layout of the American flag be changed NEXT? .......Edited for "brain cloud", thanks DogMan!
  16. WTS: Qty.8 FBMG's...New w/Magpuls...Qty.4-1st.Run w/alum.USA floorplates...Qty.4-2nd.Run w/USA body only...Price:$47 + $3(shipping)EACH..Shipping by "priority mail" w/delivery confirmation...PM or E;mail..."CROSSLISTED"
  17. .......PLASTIC:$10/$15 on stock, $15/$20 on forearm......WOOD:$30/$40 each on either stock or forearm.....Of course, it's all relative to geography & "desire"!
  18. has not set their status

  19. I've been under the impression that adding a "pistol-grip" will kick in 922r. If you're adding a USA made pistol-grip, you've only changed 3 foreign parts. On Saigas, I believe 4 foreign parts must be exchanged/eliminated for 922r. If I'm wrong, then someone will/should speak-up and set me/us straight.
  20. Saigas don't come with pistolgrips so it's not counted as one of the 4 parts that need to be replaced with USA manufactured parts. If your pistol grip isn't USA, than you've added a negative part by adding a foreign made part that IS on the list, a foreign pistolgrip. Your USA stock replacement & a foreign pistolgrip would cancel each other...leaving you with 3 compliance parts ,the FCG. The same sistuation is true if adding a muzzle device...USA-no change,...foreign-you've added 1 non-compliant part that IS on the list & must re-count your changed-out USA parts.
  21. It appears to me that the front & rear shims serve the same purpose as two of the adjustment screws on the RedStar Arms adjustable AK trigger assemblies...perhaps a "blob of mig" will do the same. So far I've seen a "blob of mig" used as a feedramp & as a fix to safety lever/trigger engagement problems....."blob of mig", a little dab will do ya'!
  22. Super fast with his payment!....Good communications!
  23. Here's what I know...they made their 7.62x39 Saiga steel mags from modified European steel mags.I've got one that came in a combo deal, so I checked out the mods done to enable the Saiga functionality.Three mods....slight narrowing of the top welded side-plates(to fit narrower Saiga mag-well),under-cut the locking tab(for taller Saiga release-lever), 1/16 rod welded across the step-down cutout notch at the top front of the mag(for use as a Saiga feed-ramp)...a fairly simple mod. I haven't heard about their making a version for .233,but it's simple enough to do to surplus mags that I imagine th
