  3. Did posp/pos type scope mounts in the past all have the locking lever of the type where the lever is on top w/wedge pulling tight from the bottom no matter whether for a sks/svd or an akm/saiga? The difference being only in the pin location--forward or rear. Present day akm/saiga mounts appear to all have the lever underneath using a horizontal bar for the locking mechanism with all sks/svd types using the top positioned lever w/wedge. I've got a pos 6x36 /tall mount /AAbtry./hunting cheverons aligned curving vertically for range-finding reticule. The locking lever is of the top position w/

  6. I see 2000 rd. cases of Austrian blanks selling for $70-$90. Has anyone tried cutting the crimped-ends off and using them as primered brass for reloads? I believe they were boxer primed brass.
