it may take as much as two years, but eventually, people will stop buying at the record rate that it's been. at that point, the prices will drop, but I don't expect to find new Saigas from vendors for a bargain price. I remember being disappointed last year when I payed $350 for mine after they had been down to around $290 months earlier.

So if I remove the shroud at the end of the barrel, exposed threads are left underneath which I can just connect one of those adapters to?

This will sound really ghetto, but as a temporary fix, maybe you could use a strong rubber band on it to at least keep it in place until you come up with a permanent fix?
