  1. They have them listed here, but the link is dead and you can't put it in the shopping cart. Maybe call them. http://www.armsofamerica.com/magazines/saigamags.html Hard to find, unless someone else out there has a source. So no 15 round 2 1/2" mags? Well, there goes my hopes for the gun, and commonality with my judge....sigh.
  2. What about the surefire 15 round magazines? Will they cycle the 2 1/2" shells?
  3. Bought a new .410 Saiga, and was very excited. Imagine my dismay when I went to fire it for the first time, and found failures to feed! The first shells I tried to fire were my friend's hand loaded 2 1/2" tri-ball loads (three .395 round balls). The rounds looked like they were fed up at too high of an angle to be properly aligned with the barrel, the bolt would then mash the rounds hard and deform them slightly. So I figured my problems must have been my friend's reloaded ammunition, even though he loads high quality shells. I decided that I had to test it with factory rounds to be
  4. can Mike just make the cartridge an 8 gauge necked down to 12 gauge to fit the bore? so we'll get more girth?? and it'll still fit in the second run drums? I think that'd be great. and when is he coming round to Flagstaff so he can hold my baby boy at the ticker tape parade? thanks Mike!! Nice attempt at humor, but there are a LOT of 3" shells out there as it is a common size and most shotguns and shotgun mags can accept both, and it's not hard to do since the shells are basically the same size (in fact, many roll crimped 2 3/4" shells are as long or even longer than must
  5. What are your thoughts, Mike? Had a chance to look into this at all yet? Thanks!
  6. I remember Mike stating that he could have made his drums functional for both 2 3/4" and 3" shells but he decided to limit them to 2 3/4" only???? Mentioned that instead he had planned to make a second drum that was also compatible with the 3" shells. Questions are twofold. #1. Why doesn't he simply make both types of shells function in his new mags? #2. When does he plan to release the 3" drum??
  7. I MUST have the 3" drums..... I must shoot the 3" buckshot shells!!!!
  8. I need the 3" drums!! I must shoot the 3" buckshot shells!!!! No 2 3/4" will do! It can't be that hard to convert those drums to 3", eh Mike?
  9. Mike, you said that when you are taking orders for the first shipment of 3" Drums that you will offer a similar discount price to first orderers as you did with the 2 3/4" drums, correct? Because I really want a drum, but I want the 3" model!! (24 pellets .30 caliber pellets from 3" #1 buck per shot!!)

  11. Ready for the 3" version, brother?
  12. I have also experienced problems with my AGP mags, mostly due to the lateral compression. Rounds "sticking" in the mag as the gun stripped one off, and other nasty cycling issues. Aside from sanding, one of the things that helped was removing all of the screws (except the botton two) from the mag. This greatly helped release lateral pressure, and the spring steel feedlips are more than tight enough to keep the mag together and secure at the top (I can't even get the blasted things off!). Though out of my three mags, one is STILL not feeding correctly. I suspect it may be the sping. I'm m
  13. I can't wait to buy the 3" version. I just hope I get the same buy it now cheaper deal that the 2 3/4" people get.
  14. How much would you have to increase the feed tower in order to load on a clsoed bolt? Could you make a shorter spring, or some other solution?
  15. Thanks Mike, sounds good. Maybe the 3" version can be tweaked so that it can be loaded on a closed bolt?
  16. There should be a $165 promotion for those who only want the 3" version.
  17. Thanks Mike, that would be great I appreciate it. Also, just because I am interested, what are the specs of your drum in regards to size and weight in comparison to the wrathmaker?
  18. So there is no way I can pay $165 to get a 3" drum?
  19. Will the first run include the 3" design as well as that is the one I really want? Also, if the 3" design can accept 2 3/4" shells too, you should allow it to. You shouldn't add a piece to keep 2 3/4" from loading just because a few types of 2 3/4" won't fit. The fact that it says 3" is enough. .40 caliber magazines and guns will chamber .357 sig, it's the owner's responsability not to do anything stupid.
  20. I don't know about anyone else, but I have had some major problems with my AGP mags trying to cycle shells. I sanded some areas off the top of the inside of the mag near the feed lips, and that helped them a little bit function with the 2 3/4" shells. However, I am still having trouble with the 3" shells. I'm not sure WHAT I should do to fix it? File more off the mags, send them back off to AGP to fix, or what? Putting those spring steel feedlips really messed up the reliability of those mags! I'm surprised AGP hasn't made any mods to fix the problem by now!
