  1. sounds like the sides have been crushed or pushed in slightly. Take something and push through from top to bottom to expand the sides, maybe an extended length socket of appropriate size.
  2. Something new just listed on their site. Really like all the mods, especially the left side charging handle. I also found out they offer the left side charging handle mod for $250. https://www.legionusa.com/vepr-12-ipsc-legion-edition.html
  3. I can try to put that together...but no promises. Just to clarify...both guns are Vepr 12's. Here's a pic of mine.
  4. I have been using the JTE for a year on my competition gun...despite what many people say, it really makes a huge diffrence. I also just shot a Vepr 12 with a GK-01 on it and it was effective also. On a side note, I thought the JTE was just as effective, if not more effective than the GK-01 in my opinion, it seemed to have less recoil impulse.
  5. It says it take MKA 1919 mags...interesting.
  6. Stick with Winchester AA 1250/1300 fps...you will be happy.
  7. I just got off the phone with UTAS, here is what they said: 1) Lower / Upper made from Magnesium alloy (except barrel). 2) XTR will come out 1st (spring 2015) this is identicle to the UT-X except it is right hand only. 3) UT-X will come out summer 2015 and this is the ambidextrious model. 4) Mags are made of Magnesium alloy also. 5) Fin on barrel is removeable. Hope this helps with any questions.
  8. He said in the video "it is removeable" so you can add optics & accessories. My guess is there are different models available with different options. I read somewhere that the mags were plastic.
  9. Higher price point...but if the platform is more reliable and better designed, it may be worth it. The price point will definately be competitive with the Vepr 12. Parts availability will be the big seller on this one....US made.
  10. I saw a video on this, it looks very interesting and it's made in the USA. It's made by UTAS and will be called the UT-X. It is AR based as far as controls and such. It currently has 2 round, 7 round and 10 round mags available. They say the RETAIL price point will be $995. Video Link: UT-X Here we go again !!!
  11. Very interesting...who is this being made by ?
  12. I just thought I would give everyone a heads up, that Legion USA has these back in stock again (after a REALLY LONG TIME). Most people are not aware that there are actually (2) types of metal magwells availalable...steel & aluminum. From what I have read the steel are kinda flimsy, poorly made and do not line up well. The aluminum on the other hand are alot more sturdy and made from a single piece of CNC'd aluminum, also it has wider flares. These are mostly for competition shooting, so thiese may not be for everyone, but I thought it was worth letting people know. The
  13. I use the JT on my Vepr 12...it works. As a matter of fact I recently switched to 1300 fps loads, which actually shoot flatter than the 1250 fps I was using.
  14. I have seen new XN models online for $399... can't remember where...
  15. Thanks, I saw that one...it is the steel one though, I am looking for the aluminum one. I am looking for the one that Legion had at one time.
  16. Looking to find the aluminum one, let me know if anybody has one.
  17. alot of people have used a rubber o ring with success.
  18. I would pull the feed ramp, take off the rough edges and call it good to go.
