I impulse bought 2 vepr 12's. should I sell one or keep both?

I would keep it, if you can afford to. These bans rarely get lifted and the small rise in prices so far will definitely go up in my opinion long term. Plus if parts get scarce, you could have a gold mine. -
I used the Tom Cole adapter and put a JT Enterprises muzzle brake on....I saw about a 40% reduction in recoil and lift. I am a believer now.

Sounds like a Win, Win...time to start waiting.

I thought the whole idea with a double stack was large capacity in a manageable length......just sayin'

I had hoped maybe this would feature an upgraded magwell, so someone could make plastic mags like for the Saiga. You are correct though, the weakness in this platform is the steel lipped mags in my opinion and experience. But to be fair, some of the same issues are seen in the Saiga platform as well, feeding shotgun shells ain't easy out of a mag no matter how you look at it. -
16 & 24.....this is why, in competition shooting stages are most likely designed around TAC style guns (8-9) rounds, it only makes sense if you are shooting open to get double or more of the capacity of those guns. Like was said before, the whole idea of the double stack was to fit twice as many shells in the same footprint as the current 10 or 12 rounders. If I had my way...I would make a double stack 30 rounder....they would sell like hot cakes for a number of reasons.

Well stated and thought out from a guy that really does it. -
Why is the price such a secret....I would think that establishing a price publicly would be a little smarter way to market this...just sayin'.

MKA 1919 23 Round MAG ! ! Also a feed lip cover
compshootfl replied to toothandnail's topic in MKA-1919
As always...this is not for everyone. In my experience, if you don't competition shoot, then there is probably not a need for this. With that said, I have a mix of 5,10,15,20 and 23 rounders I use in competition. The mix is great for stages with bird, buck and slug and has proven to be a time saver on those type stages. I am always glad to see more option for this platform....carry on. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE TOO !! -

I too agree, the light weight was great, even though it didn't last long. I would love to have someone go the other direction with the add-ons and make some goodies out of carbon fiber. -
I would try some different ammo types, keep shooting it to give it more break in time.

The double stack mag is in the works...that's all I can say for now.

Welcome !! (1) All higher capacity mags will probably need some tuning to be truly reliable....100% reliable...probably never. I own the Roulette Tactical mags, they tend to be pretty heavy when fully loaded. If you are looking for a high cap mag option, I would continue to do more research. I have been testing another option from a company called Higher Capacity, they couple Saiga mags in many different configurations, from 8 roundes to 23 rounds, they weigh much less than some other options (I have a thread on these). (2) I feel that after all is said and done, the stock gun w

I just shot a box of factory loaded gun clubs last night...they seemed to run well and I had them combined in a 23 round mag with my AA reloads. As soon as I hit the AA reloads, I started to get some FTF. I guess I need to go back to the drawing board on those. The gun club hulls can be reloaded multiple times and hold up well.

He should make them....add a std. Saiga thread...I would be a buyer. It looks to be a very effective design with clean looks. How has it performed as far as muzzle rise for you ?

Who makes this brake (the front part, I got the rear is Cobra Custom) ?

A simple rubber o-ring does the trick.
