  1. I'm interested in buying and converting a saiga 7.62, but I was wondering what mags will work with it without adding a bullet guide. Any help is appreciated, thank you!
  2. It's obvious he doesn't know how to properly operate it.... Poor poor neglected S-12 manual
  3. I suggest going out and buying like 50-100 rounds of 3" federal magnum slugs and switching it to setting 1. Shoot through all that and it'll break the gun in nicely, it's the first thing I did with my S-12 and it's been running flawlessly with all ammo types from light target loads to magnum rounds.
  4. I find so many reviews where people complain about the reliability and function of the almighty Saiga 12. They fail to observe its beauty and elegance or to fully grasp it's true power. Is it a disability? Perhaps. The saiga 12 is awesome and no one should hate on it like this guy in this review- http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2011/09/foghorn/gun-review-saiga-12-gauge-semi-automatic-shotgun/
  5. So should I just stick with the factory plug on setting one?
  6. I plan on using only heavy loads, I would like it to reliably shoot 3" and 2 3/4" slugs. I use factory mags and 10 round AGP mags, but plan to get some drums. How short could I go without messing with the gas tube if this is all I want to put through it from now on? I have not tampered with the gas ports yet as I haven't been able to remove the gas block since one of the pins is really stubborn and won't come out. But looking into the gas tube I only see three ports. The Auto Plug took a couple minutes to tune it, but once it was set the saiga will eat up anything I feed it.
  7. If you did happen to convert it to a SBS, would you be able to get away without shortening the gas system if you planned on only running heavy rounds like slugs through it?
  8. So If I decide to chop my S12's barrel down to 12.5", I shouldn't have to modify the gas ports or gas tube at all? I also have a TAC 47 Auto plug installed on the gun right now, do you guys that would make a difference for the SBS?
