  1. I have a Limbsaver on my skeleton stock. I just found the biggest one at GI Joes, and it fit fine. It's either large or extra large. I don't have the box with me anymore, so I can't tell you the model number or anything. I'm pretty big, and that stock was pretty short, but now it feels like an extension of myself when shooting. The only thing I need to do now is Dremel a notch so that the cheek can be adjusted to a lefty-friendly spot. Hope this helps.
  2. I picked up my .308 from Arms of America. Their customer service was top-notch, and since I paid a little more for shipping, the rifle was actually at my local dealer the next day! I don't think you have anything to worry about.
  3. Shane, I appreciate that you respect my fairly irrational love of the factory stock. G O B: Where can I get those parts? Do any AK gas tube/gas pistons work? It looks like I need to get back to the search button.
  4. Thanks for the input, guys. I'm sorta attached to the factory stock. Can anyone verify that I can replace the hammer and disconnector only? That would get me compliant without having to change out the stock.
  5. All, I have one of the newish 308s with a skeletonized stock. With the intention of legally adding an FBMG 20-rounder, I think the smartest way to go is by replacing the FCG with American-made parts. However, I'm worried that replacing the FCG will place the trigger too far forward. Am I right with this thinking? It would be fine for pistol grips, but not for the skeleton stock. Has anyone tried this? Does anyone have some recommendations? Thanks. Jacob
  6. I just picked up a Saiga .308 with the skeletonized stock. I've only put 20 rounds through it so far, but I know this is the rifle for me! I tried searching, but I couldn't find the answer to this question: I like the POSP scopes. They're durable, inexpensive, and bolt right up. However, they don't seem very lefty-friendly. I'd like to get the same value, but in something that I can use when shooting left-handed. I assume I'd get a high-rise scope mount, but what are my options for a good, inexpensive scope with the same range-finding abilities as the POSP line? Please get bac
  7. All, I'm looking to buy one of the Saigas with the skeletonized stock. I know of the places online, but I'd like to look at it and make sure it's right before buying. Any ideas of where to go in Washington State or Oregon? Thanks for your time/responses. Jacob
