  1. The stock he is refering to is most likely the russian made folder that attaches to the back of the rifle without modification to the FCG. It is illegal to attach this stock without changing some foreign parts on the rifle to get the number of actual foreign parts under 10. Yes it may be made in Russia for a Saiga, but it is still illegal to use it without playing the parts game. To complicate matters, when you put this stock on your rifle, you actually ADD ANOTHER foreign part to your rifle, since it adds a pistol grip. So if you plan on doing a conversion later, this stock won't work aft
  2. these are saiga sidefolders new, they are only 922 complyent if you do a conversion
  3. YEP I GOT TWO BRAND NEW FOLDING SAIGA STOCKS I,LL TAKE 100.00 A PICE.SHIPPING,S ON YOU.LET ME KNOW AT rustiewood@comcast.net
  4. yep just got em ,sold gun 2 months ago.85.00 /rustiewood@comcast.net.
  5. It counts as two parts -- the stock and pistol grip. If the folder is imported, you will start with 15 imported parts and should need to swap out 5 parts. If the folder is US-made, then installing it should leave you with 3 more parts to swap. It really is pretty easy once you get your head around the fact that you're concerned with the number of imported parts which remain. I should note that a folder on an AK derivative is "not importable" -- "not importable" is the phrase used by ATF to identify configurations which require 10-or-less parts . . . so installing the folder is just as muc
  6. Best to try sell that Russian folding stock. Because it is counted as 2 Russian parts, when you install it, it adds and additional foreign part rather that subtracting one. Did you ever complain to gunbroker about that jerk. I see he is now offering 7.62x39s with the folding stock and 3 high cap mags, all of which are against the law to put on a Saiga without converting it. nope! let her ride!im not gonna complain to him, why? i look at it this way,the longer he pull,s this crap, the harder its gonna be on him when they drop the hammer.im just gonna get,em coverted.and write it up
  7. holy crap im more confused than ever!so to install my saiga folding stock that counts as ? i dont know how many parts now,i got to replace with U.S. complyent parts in gun and keep my FMBG mags some where else ?damn i need a drink!
  8. what about the spring? does that count as a part?
  9. just ordered 2 20rd mags from FBMG.since they are using a russian 10rd follower that makes 2 american parts right?
  10. I think he meant that he needs to make up for the two foreign parts that the Saiga folder represents. I think you are correct on the mags - 2 parts. yep thats what i meant ,and if the two mag parts is true, that be great!
  11. sure would save me some trouble since the saiga folding stock counts as two parts.
