Sorry about this I did search. How deep ( indexing?) would one want the muzzle break to be screwed down to? Should the barrel end meet flush with the where the muzzle break is? I'm talking depth of screwing down the flash hider. Thanks.

Any concerns about the barrel heat expansion and throttling caused by the retainer?

Just wondering what the difference is between the KVar upper and lower plastic handguards compared to a genuine one that is on eBay. Seller goes by the name of lucky market. Thanks

Yes. I thought that was done once its imported. -
So basically I need a lower locking bar and upper gas tube that's it? I don't need to remove my front site. Would the K Var Russian upper and lower fit the same or differently.

Would you know which sort of retainer and gas tube works with my rifle and the hogue please ?

Nothing at the moment. Just a SGm tactical quad rail.

Ordered a scope from them in early September. No confirmation email nor no response from them at all. -

Love it mate. -
I just stripped the paint off mine using fine sand paper and polishing compound. I just keep it greased up.

Weather is good indeed. As is the freedom to own guns, although I still miss the UK very much. Must have been very hard for you to get a fire arms certificate.

Welcome aboard RichUK. From another Brit.

Fairy muff. Then again I thought it would be single shot only. Meaning load one round at a time manually.

Interesting thread. I wasn't even aware that semi auto rifles were legal in the UK. I'd post you one if all is legal.

My Carolina arms bullet guide has thus far stayed in place with JB weld and over 500 rounds however I would really like to re tap it and fit another screw. My issue is I can easily buy the next tap up size but where do I get the screw to fit this new hole from ? I basically need similar rounded hex but one size up that came with my bullet guide kit. I'm not sure what the original tap size and screw was so would be grateful if someone could list the original tap and screw size together with what the next size up I need will be. I'm metric originally so need to take the imperial measurement

This. Also, just a general tip- it is probably not a good idea to call people who could potentially help you with your issue "mofos" and "cunts." Totally agree and apologize for making them comments.
