  1. I've toyed with that idea myself! Let's see what would be required... Full Auto with the top position safe, middle position full and bottom semi. 12" Barrel, modified choke with the Vang Comp Treatment Adjustable ACE stock (w/recoil pad) FAL Pistol Grip EOTech (NV Compatible) Full Rail System (For mounting lights or IR Illuminators) Tula 6G15 40mm Grenade Launcher (Front loading, single shot) Gravity released custom bayonet Several 9 round box mags and two 20 round drums Well except for the full auto part, it's doable. Monster
  2. I would go with De-Animator.... I personally am trying to figure out how to build Abomination from Monster Hunter International...... (if you haven't read the book, I HIGHLY recommend it)
  3. I'm curious if there are any other ways of getting rid of the creep. I dont really want a 'match' trigger, but I would like to have a shorter, harder pull on it, much more like my Para Warthog
  4. http://www.imfdb.org/index.php/Gamer I'm sure there will be more added, but so far there isn't an S12 listed.... eventhough one of the pics does look like an S12 with an AA drum
  5. WOW, now that is some serious reziliance
  6. I didn't have ANY issues with it.... laid the spring in, put the pin through, took a small screwdriver and pulled it up the side of the gun, grabbed it with some small needle-nosed pliars, pushed the BHO against the side of he gun, released the spring and TAHDAH!!!!! worked perfectly. after I take it apart to paint and put it back together, I'm gonna put a bend in the leg of the spring and make it ever easier..... it'll be a piece of cake
  7. Are there differences between the shape and/or function of the BHO's along the Saiga lineup? I'm familiar with the BHO in the 12 but am curious if the only difference between it and the other shotguns and rifles is just the width of the reciever, or if the shapes are just completely different... Thanks in advance
  8. I remember someone saying a LONG time ago that they used tampons..... I personally use a bore snake and break-free or CLP, or whatever I happen to be using at the time.
  9. people say its not good because its not got a super long super tightly choked barrel, and its not an over-under or side-by-side.... ALOT of people that shoot trap and skeet are SERIOUS gun snobs, and they think if you're not using what they're using that its just not as good..... I have shot clays with mine and it does GREAT went 10 for 10 at one point and hit 45 out of 50 overall when we were playin around up on a road job back home... and that was before I bought a polychoke with an 18 inch barrel
  10. did you only have an 8 round mag with ya? or not get the last 2 shots off? I would enjoy doing something like that.... too bad none of the classes or anything are anywhere near me.
  11. its easier for me to just pull the bolt out than the handgaurd.... either/or should get the same job done
  12. pull you bolt assy out, soak the shit out of the back side of the piston (while gun is pointing down) let it soak for awhile and see if that helps.... the puck should allow some of the liquid to get around it getting to the threads of the plug and hopefully loosening them, if that doesn't work, then try to find some metal that barely fits in the grooves cut into the plug that is strong enough and heave it around..... MAKE SURE THAT THE BUTTON IS DEPRESSED!!!! good luck
  13. darn, I remembered wrong... knew I should have gone and checked the list before going off memory..... oh well
  14. sweet, I'll have to play with the gun I've got apart at the moment, but that is a nice compliance part can't wait to see one.
  15. awesome, does anyone have a link to how to replace the firing pin? how hard or easy is it?
  16. Can you possibly post a pic or link of that gun, I'm curious to see it
  17. I woul dalso like to see a link to that post..... as I'm getting ready to tear my conversion apart to measure some parts and paint it up all purty
  18. I gotta say, that is one interesting idea.... dunno if I'd really trust it or how smoothly it would work, but that is a heck of an idea.....
  19. I've been thinking about things like that since I did my conversion.... hmmmmmm just looked in my gun and I see a way that I think I can make a ambi BHO.... but it would only work on converted guns As soon as I can get some time I will tear the gun down and try to make something... if someone could possibly set me up with measurements of the BHO so that I dont have to tear mine apart I could possibly get a prototype much faster
  20. I've been curious about Fiochi, Rio Royal and B&P.... I need to find cheap ammo, but dont want to buy a case of un-cyclable crap......
  21. I really prefer my CAA Grip with the interchangable fronts and rears.... was able to make it fit my hand PERFECTLY
  22. I'm having entirely too much fun filing and fitting everything on it to send it off..... that and I'd feel naked without having it sitting in its normal spot.... it felt weird not having it there for the 1 night that it was down during the conversion.... LOL
  23. I forgot to mention that, but I already have that installed.... that made it SUPER SMOOTH to pull, just a really long pull
  24. Hey guys, I just put a Tromix FCG in my freshly converted Saiga and dont really like the trigger pull. I feel that the pull is too long, I would like it to be much sharper. As far as the reset and all that is fine, I would just like the trigger to snap without having to pull the thing so damned far. It feels like the stock non-converted pull was even shorter than this. Any advise on how to make a nice snappy trigger outta this? which part do I need to modify? the hammer or the hook on the trigger?
  25. I'm in could always use a little help getting my next conversion underway
