Gun Confiscation Begins in New York!
shoes45 replied to gunman1's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
I hate to inform you of your mistake... HOWEVER... There is probably THAT MUCH HARDWARE in MY COUNTY ALONE... ( no maybe not F/A stuff...) but I think you might be pleasantly surprised just how many people snubbed their noses at the safe act... It is a VERY small percentage of gun owners even smaller than the percentage who told the Gov. to shove it, in the OTHER STATE that did this... LOL People always think that all of N.Y. is nothing but concrete. Us upstaters are pretty much hillbillies. I think us up in Oswego Co. might have you boys in Onondaga Co. beat though Indy. -
HE set the price. How is that ripping off someone? Instead of banging his ex, why don't YOU just blow me. You said, "guess he didn't know what he had!" and you were such a good "friend" you decided not to tell him what he had, some friend you are, I just found it quite odd somebody was bragging about ripping off a "friend" that just went through a bad divorce, it really speaks volumes about you. Again with the ripping off thing. What ever. Since you don't know anything about me, I'm just gonna be done with it. I like it here, and if I offended anybody, I apologize(is that okay liberty

just got a "new" .223 from a friend (bad divorce) un restored for ( get THIS) $200.00!!!! guess he did'nt know what he had! anyhoo, it is all wrapped up in a old bed sheet and he COVERED it in bar and chain (for chainsaws) oil! inside, in the barrel, in the reciever, ALL over it. if any of you know bar and chain oil, you know how sticky it is. gummed up everything! i guess he was hiding it from his wife. my question is, what do i cut the oil with without stripping the paint? was going to use acetone but i'm betting that will cut the paint as easy as the oil. what would you guys use to clean th

well done. i'm done with keeping everything in the safe like they say we're supposed to. like thats gonna help in that situation. the wife even wants a shotty by the bed now. -
its not the recoil i'm trying to reduce, i'm wanting to reduce the muzzle climb. that second shot (or third!) could be critical! i tell you what, this .223 shoots WAY differant than the AR i used to have! much louder even. how is that possible? same round. cant wait to convert it back to specs!

Ditto and with Nato you really need a good flash hider. Do not be so hasty about that 20 inch baby. I wish I had one. i've heard that the 20" version is harder to find. i think i'd rather have a brake on it rather than a flash hider. but with the 20 inches, man, it would get long! kinda thinking along the lines of Nailbombs piece. just got the parts in from Dinzag,(thanks Brian!) working 75 hours a week right now (farmer) so no real time right now. soon!

the Apex furniture is just what i was thinking! i'm thinking a cutdown to 16" too got some researching to do.

well, i've been screwing around too long on this. took the Saiga out the other day and had a blast with it. but it just didnt "feel" right. and since the stupid laws here in N.Y. have made me choose, i choose to make my Saiga a REAL weapon like it was supposed to be. just got done ordering a Dinzag kit! i had already installed a BG and stocked up on Tapco mags. now the fun begins. never done any gunsmithing but i figure if i can tear apart my old Shovelhead Harley and put it back together, i can do this. i cant seem to find much for furniture though. i would like to find the traditional wo

we've been getting pretty lucky here in Upstate N.Y. lately. got 3 boxes of Winchester .556 at Wally World the other day. $12.00 a box of 20. then the next day there was Tula Brassmax in the case!! $16.00 a box, 50 to a box! nice! there was quite a bit of it too. i think its starting to loosen up. that asshat at the gun shop needs a good asskicking.
