Can someone validate Jake's understanding? I want to make sure that is true, because when I screen the plug all the way down and back it out, the first thing it lands on is #1, not #2 like user PCF said it would. So it doesn't matter how many time I loosen it to #2 it's still the same #2 pressure (vice/versa for #1) for the gas?

All, Sorry for such a newbie question, but I am on the way to the range and was working with my new saiga, and I am able to manage it well, except I loaded a shell and am unable to unload the shell safely. It has the metal latches grabbed onto the bottom of the brass... how do I unlock/release the shell safely? Thanks in advance as soon as i loaded the magazine back on.. and pulled the bolt action it allowed the shell to remove... I was trying to prepare for one shot at a time at the range, as they require... and had taken the magazine off... i guess the magazine has to be in place
