  1. Do you all recommend that I drill & tap the sides of the receiver where the old trigger pin holes were, so these screws have more threading to secure to?
  2. Thanks for the correction Malcolm, another mistake on my part. Never remember which pins are called what. That's great thanks for the info on those drill bit sizes.
  3. sorry bout the lack of clarity, basically the 3/32 drill bit doesn't remove any material from the old axis pin holes that's what I meant by being to small. The 3/16 drill bit seems like it will make the hole to big meaning it will remove to much material. I don't have any problem with interference as the screw holes in the internal receiver block match up perfectly with the old axis pin holes.
  4. I converted my saiga 12 today and when I was installing the internal receiver block (the one that has the screw holes on the sides, 2 on each side for a total of 4 screw holes) I couldn't get the supplied screws to clear the old axis pin holes that are on the side of the receiver. Everything aligns right but the supplied screw diameter is to large for the axis pin holes. What drill bit would you all use to open up the old axis pin holes? I tried using 3/16 but that seems like to much so I tried 5/32 and that was to small, didn't have anything between that in my tools set. Any ideas?
  5. I was wondering what mechanism you need to get the buttstock to fold to the left side of the saiga 12? Just about to do the conversion and would rather it fold to the left vs the right side.
  6. would this tromix buttstock be warsaw length: http://www.carolinashooterssupply.com/product_p/s12-kit-9-tromix-6pc.htm
  7. Looking to convert my saiga 12 and wanted to see what you all recommend for a great buttstock setup. I am a smaller guy (about 5-8) so I am kinda looking for a compact buttstock setup (also because of my shorter arm length). I feel I screwed up by cutting off the tangs as I feel it has limited my options as far as buttstocks go but there is no turning back now. What do you all recommend for buttstocks for a smaller guy?
  8. Just set up a kushnapup style saiga and was debating on wheter I should put optics on it. Started thinking about just possiblly mounting a flashlight on the side picatiny rails and using that as a reference as to where the shotgun will shoot instead of setting it up with the optics, what do you all think about that? If you all think that a flashlight would be effective instead of an optics system, which if any tactical flashlights have enough lumens to be able to see outside so that i don't have to buy optics at all. Thanks in Advance Mike
  9. Syndicate, I did mean I agree with you that I was being a keyboard hero as well. I like your stance on the matter big j and I, were both being childish. That videos was hilarious by the way.
  10. little j I think you need to get laid or something buddy things like that shouldn't irritate you that much it tells me your outlook on life is grim. Get yourself a cute chick if you can (I doubt it if you could) and things will seem a little less troublesome to you bud. Have a shitty life ( as I am sure you do) this will be my last reply to your sorry ass.
  11. Couldn't agree with you more syndicate. Just irritates me when people can't answer a question for what it is. I don't care what the rules are about posting similar topics as long as it not ridiculously redundant. if someone asks me a question I would be more than glad to answer it even if I have answered it more than once to someone else. I am not a confrontational person I firmly believe in making friends and not foes, except with rude people who don't have decent manners.
  12. You've prolly gotten your ass kicked more than once in your lifetime then buddy cuz where I come from you get slapped for talking to people like that. Learn your manners and grow up tough guy stop sitting around on your computer posting on forums and get out in the real world it will teach you.
  13. I think its funny when people post snide remarks over the internet (everyone is a lot tougher when there not face to face) a simple yes or no would have done buddy or posting the link and saying check this out. Thanks for all other replies.
  14. I recently ordered a kushnapup stock and wanted to know if any of you all could comment on its durability. You guys think I could get a lot of rounds out of one? Thanks in advance.
  15. Good to hear I was a little worried, I know they don't have the best reputation amongst certain communities. Either way it hard to deny how cool there product is. How do you like yours? Does it seem like it will last a long time? Thanks for the Reply, Mike G.
