I just purchased a converted saiga 20 from Alamo Tactical in San Antonio, TX. I notice that the Bolt sticks at the last little bit going into battery. Also I have been having FTF issues with the shells comming out with dimples along the bottom where the lower lug locks into. The edges of the lower locking lug on the barell is very sharp and seems to be gouging the shells. Is there some sort of feed ramp for the S12? Any suggestions. PICS will follow.

I must say though that I really like the concept. They should make a one piece option that does the same thing and NOT make it out of polymer. What i mean is you can use an existing buffer tube and retaining plate.

How does the CSS extension tube conversion compare to the CAA Aluminum or the VLTOR? Does anyone have any experience with it? It looks like it does not get you quite as high of a cheek weld, but higher than the VLTOR or CAA. It also has the advantage of being one piece.

You are gonna get all manner of crud, dirt, and water in your buffer tube. I wish that they had milled it out a little less, or provided some sort of plug to block that from happening.
