  1. haha yea I was in the garage and my dad had a spare hinge lying around and I grabbed my cleaning rod and dropped it through the hole and right then and there I knew it was going to work
  2. I took a padlock hasp and took the part where the padlock goes into and cut it up and trimmed it to make a guide under the gas block for the cleaning rod to pass through.
  3. I bought a fire control group converted x39 last year. To finish the conversion I bought a front handguard retainer without a front sling loop and also got a fixed triangle stock also lacking a sling mount. Now I was left with a dilemma, I had no idea how I would mount a sling so I came up with this. So far it has held up quite well and am pleased with it. Any of you guys come up with any unique ways to mount your slings?
  4. finished my saiga front end conversion
  5. it says that the adapters hole is .500 and slips over the barrel, is that the same diameter as saiga rifles?
  6. I know it says its for a WASR but I cut back the barrel shroud and found it was not threaded, would this item be a good alternative to threading? http://ak-builder.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=30090
  7. Cant decide which one I like better wish I had 1 of each
  8. called the sheriffs office, they said that it is only allowed on private property in unincorporated land and no neighbors within 300 feet. We drove out to Article II range instead but next time we will check out the bristol shooting range since its near by although expensive to enter ($30).
  9. thanks I called the sheriff for lake county and they transferred but nobody answered (kept ringing), I looked up a map of and in antioch and about half a mile from my cousins house is unincorporated land, now i just have to find out if it is legal to shoot there by contacting the local pd
  10. So i'm visiting family tomorrow by Antioch and wanted to know what the ordinance for shooting outdoors was, stupid question but could we just go out into the woods, set up targets and start shooting? The only other time I shot outdoors was on a friends private property in Wilmington.
