  7. The guy i got my finn from also gave me a shit load of ammo of many variations, but aside from the wolf ammo, none of the other two variations of the ammo i have, shows any marks from manufacturer. I was wondering if anyone here knew what the two on the left are in this picture. Theres one with a white tip, and another (that i like better than the rest) with a red strip around the projectile before the case. It isnt wolf thats for sure. Anyone have a clue? The reason im concerned or curious is because i would like to know what exactly performs best for this particular rifle. Like what grain im
  8. More updates and pics. Theres an "L" on the inside of the stock, and on the buttstock. Old serial 8881 on the bottom of the barrel. Weird but i didnt find any original manufacture date on the tang just izhvesk symbols i mentioned above ( bow and arrow more arrows and triangle with arrow in center) Their was no tool marks or any sign of possibly brushing or grinding the date off either. It looks rather untouched. But no date anywhere. The trigger retainer ( if thats even what its called) or the little metal flap that attaches the trigger to the reciever by screw has a triangle with arrow like t
  9. Hey all. Just wanted to share my new toy with yall. Its a Finnish m27 tikka Mosin nagant built in 1932. It was part of a trade for another firearm i was trying to sell. Im in love with this flawless ( i havent shot it yet but just wait) piece of history. Its sturdier and well put together i would say better than the russian 91/30's ive held recently at my local gun stores (ammobros turners and big 5). Im still researching the rifle but so far everything matches ( serial#s). Heres some pics. Sorry i dont own a canon. Its a cellphone pic. Doesnt do it any justice but without pics this post is wo

  11. I know im late but i JUST finished my saiga 7.62 conversion and i used the red star retaining plate from ak builder and mines broke. I mean broke at the point where the c looking part that adapts around the hammer axis pin is no more. But i rigged it with a hook clamp from my tool box. Another wasted penny if ya ask me :-( just my ak47¢
