  1. That is absolutely impossible as the internet is full of much worse. Then there's the deepweb which is even worse. 4chan has a lot of good people on it and a lot of good advice and information on topics ranging from exercise to guns. Someone glancing at these forum would think it supported armed insurrection based off the posts of some people here. Always be careful of extrapolating from small sample sizes. Anyway a large portion of the experienced people at 4chan are pretty convinced it's being run by the FBI or some government organization now. There is some evidence ba
  2. Because people say that crap daily and never actually do anything.
  3. If true, that in itself is unbelievable. Patiently line up and wait to get shot??? 5-10 couldn't or wouldn't jump his ass??? He can't kill them all and in the end that rifle would be shoved up his ass sideways. Jeez.. My son who will turn 17 the 28th said to me .If anyone ever tried that at his school , he was going to pick up something and bash them and tackle them and the fight would be on . He said he didn't understand people answering then standing there and getting shot . I feel sorry for the victims and their famalies ,but I would choose to fight back. I was wondering if in such a s
  4. I have the smaller quad rail. Solid construction and not a lot of weight. Didn't really change the balance of the gun for me.
  5. A term used here for a bullet that flies off the mark by a very noticeable amount. I've also heard them called "flyers".
  6. Your shop doesn't know what's what. For the last few years, on average Wolf will always be better than Tulammo anything - Tulammo has had some bad QC on case sizing, low powder charge, etc. Not sure why they would warn about one or the other though, since they are still both Russian steel-case ammo. That's interesting because every single time I've shot wolf ammo I've had zingers. Tulammo on the other hand has always been consistent. Monarch ammo has been incredibly inconsistent every time I've shot it.
  7. It's luck of the draw with WASR 10s. I've seen awful ones and I've seen good ones.
  8. I used a mako tube before switching to VLTOR. I absolutely love the VLTOR and would highly recommend it.
  9. I always loved those cars, never owned one. How cool was that little window in the back, I always wanted one. I had an 89 SI with a JDM B16 swap with NOS (50hp dry) and more back in the late 90s. I did a ridiculous amount of work on that car. I ported and polished and tweaked for 100s of hours. In case you're wondering I ran a 4 into 2 header with cat and a standard turbo muffler. No fart can and the car wasn't too loud. It was ridiculously fast and a death trap though. Still got +30 mpg highway even with the ridiculous level of modding. I had to get a custom ECU setup for it Now I'
  10. I've read many times that accuracy is one part ammo and one part gun. IT seems that guns on an individual basis tends to like certain ammos. Having said that for my converted saiga I useTulammo for cheap range ammo (surplus is getting hard to find). I get better accuracy with tulammo then with wolf military and such. As for hunting I prefer the 123g partizan ppu SP rounds.
  11. PPU partizan SP 123 gr has worked quite well for me.
  12. WEll there's two ways this can go. Lazy/asshole cops will claim every magazine is illegal and then it's up to you to prove it isn't. By the time you spend all the money and time to prove it you'll have put in more effort and money then the average person. On the other side they can roughly approximate the date of manufacture through manufacturer marks on the magazine itself. Other then that they can't prove you didn't buy it when it was first made or yesterday.
  13. THe dimples are probably mostly for looks at this point. If you look even with the saigas that have the dimples the magazines are actually supported by a rail above the dimple area and by the magazine well cutout below the dimple. I have no doubt that without the dimple I would notice little difference in magazine wobble.
  14. I have some polish surplus metal mags and they are quite solid.
  15. I use "Crapco" mags all the time at the range. They are my go to mags for hunting too. I've never had a problem with them. Now if I was pretending to be a soldier or something like that and dropping magazines I'd definitely use my combloc surplus mags but there's no reason to put wear and tear on those when I'm simple range shooting or hog hunting..
