I installed the VLTOR stock and had to do some minor fitting on the bottom edge of the aluminum to get it to fit. Then I had to use 2 small washers to shim under the rear tang hole to get the tube to stick straight out (it was angled slightly upward without the washers). It works great now and is rock solid. I put about 400 rds through it with no issues. If I ever notice the shimmed screw backing out I will put a drop of blue loctite on it. If you like I can post a pic when I get home.

Let us know how that works. Did you just chop the lug off the front of the mag to fit it?

Any good deals out there on Izzy 8 rounders? I think this may be a while longer. The 98% completion is like that huge file download that stops dead for a while then the last 2% takes three times as long as the 98% did.

I bought an 80 rd can of Fiocchi slugs not realizing (my fault) they were low recoil. Talk about a jam-o-matic experience. I was at a range that allows slugs only and it was my first time shooting my V12. I had to clear FTE's for all of my first 20 rds. After that it got less and less but even on my last mag (75-80 rds) I still had a jam. Brought Remington 3" magnums as well and had zero malfunctions with them. Will my V12 break in and be more reliable with low recoil stuff eventually or should I steer clear?

Who knows? Maybe I'll have my 12-rounders for Christmas... maybe.

Any update on these mags? I'm almost thinking Pauly might have his rock & lock conversion kit ready sooner. Not that I'm looking forward to giving up the mag well and LRBHO, but 5 rounds at a time makes for tons of reloading. Plus rock & lock conversion opens up the possibility of drums too. Thanks!

Other US made rock & lock/no Saiga 030 Legion magwell mags/yes? Am I missing any or incorrect with the compatibility results? Thanks

I left it standard. Works just fine for me like that.
