hhmm..I have always had mine set on 1. All I shoot is 2-3/4" silver/golden bear shells (slugs and #4 buckshot) never had a cylce problem. I did have a box of 2-1/2" that I had to feed manually. Next time I go to the range I'll switch it and try #2. nice post turbo!

My brother and I were bore sighting my .410 and apparently we forgot to remove it before firing and this is what it looks like now I'll get it fixed in the near future

2.5" wont cycle from any of my magazines (after the 1st one is cycled). I use the silver/golden/brown bear 2.75 or 3" stuff only now. I shot 50 or 60 golden bear #4 buckshot last week with no problems and will shoot around the same amount Tuesday when I go back. All the 2.5" I shot up and won't purchase again.

My 3" doesnt have a metal band either.

I have a case of the golden bear #4's that I shoot with. They have 5 .24" pellets in each one.

I just shot a couple dozen #4 and slugs Wednesday at the range and didn't have a problem
