  1. Yep... it's above the receiver. The indent at the bottom near the handle is catching. Pull it out to clear this. If it still is locked up, Field strip the cover, recoil spring, and bolt out and take pics.
  2. Make sure that it's not too high... if you bring it too high it will cause a bump on the inside of the lever to go above the receiver edge causing it to catch. If it is... just pull on the lever slightly away from the receiver and push it down.
  3. Nope... it can be operated in almost any state.
  4. Like I, you have an older Saiga 410 that does not have an adjustable gas plug and the old-style gas puck. The diameter is smaller than the S12.
  5. Here's an excerpt from my ballistic spreadsheet that might help. (note: Sub 3" means it will fit in a SGMag) ...well the paste feature in this editor sux... this is the best I can do... Ammunition Description Wt. (Grain) Velocity (ft/s) Mag. Size 2 1/2" - Remington Slugger Rifled Slug (0.20)1/5oz 1830 2 1/2" 2 1/2" - Winchester Super-X Rifled Slug Hollow Point
  6. I occasionally have the same issue. Mine, I believe, is due to the shell extractor sticking as it goes forward. I've been dealing with other issues and haven't fully disassembled the bolt to clean it.
  7. This really depends on the year of your Saiga 410. The older models do not use the same kind nor size gas plug or puck.
  8. I got mine here... http://www.saigastock.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=24&products_id=118
  9. I have but have yet to test it. I'll get back to you.
