I just finished doing this a few days ago. replace both FSB and GB and handguard retainer with a bulgarian parts. Not much modification to the parts just minor sanding polishing to the barrel. removal was easy and with a press and installation was fairly easy. What took the longest was notching the locking pin for the handguard with a file and finding the right drill bit for the fsb and gb pin.

can you tell me what size drill bit you gonna use for the pin? I also did mine last night but not pinned yet since I cant seem to find the correct size drill bit. I'm gonna use the same pin that came with the fsb and gb but these are less than 3mm.

Heres mine.....Any suggestion for a red dot that will co witness the front sight.

I don't see the dimple from the front sight block, did you cut down the barrel?
